"Just ignore the paparazzi," Nathan whispered in my ear.
I was about to ask why there would be paparazzi, but then I thought, 'They're the James family, the most wealthy family in America, of course there is going to be paparazzi!'
Dumb me.
I did as I was told and ignored them. As we walked through the doors, everyone looked at us. We socialized and eventually supper was served. Mid-supper Nathan and Heather stood up.
"Family, Friends, Heather and I have great news," Nathan began.
"As you know, it is a James family tradition to marry and orphan, and me and Nathan have finally chosen," Heather continued while smiling at Chase.
Nathan just looked forward as he said, "Everyone, my fiancé, Collins Anderson, and my sisters fiancé, Chase Smith." Everyone burst into applause and I walked to Nathan while Heather hugged Chase. He gave me a quick hug and quickly went back to his conversation with a beautiful blonde. I brushed it off and continued to eat my supper.
When dinner was over we went back to Nathans apartment, me, him, and the blonde.
I was curious as to why she came with us so I pulled Nate into the kitchen. "Why is she here?" I asked him as sweetly as I could.
He walked closer until we were only inches away, "Listen this is my moms doing, I just picked you because I thought you were hot. So, I will fool around with other girls until I'm ready to settle down. Until then, you'll just deal with it. Are we clear?" He explained.
"Crystal." I said and blinked back the tears.
He smirked and waked into his bedroom with the blonde. I broke down and ran to my room. Soon enough I fell asleep.
:)
In the morning I woke up early and made eggs for me and Nathan.
Nathan walked out with a pair of sweatpants that hung low on his waist and no shirt. He smirked again, "Looks good," I avoided his eyes at his compliment and responded.
"Thanks."
"Can you get the milk?" He asked as he say down.
"Sure," I said and sat down after I grabbed it. We ate in silence. That is, until Nathan broke it.
"Why so quiet?" He wondered.
I shrugged.
He grinned, "Are you, are you jealous?"
'Yes!' I thought, but instead I scoffed, "Why would I be jealous when I have a boyfriend?" I fibbed.
He looked pissed, "And when did you get a boyfriend?"
"Last night." Another lie.
"Really? Why didn't I hear you go out?" He inquired.
"Maybe because you were to busy with Barbie?" I suggested.
"Fine, I want to meet him." That shocked me.
"No problem, he's in the lobby." I said and strutted out the door. What is wrong with me?! I DON'T have a boyfriend, I DIDN'T meet him last night, and he ISN'T in the lobby!!
I walked into the lobby and I saw a fairly cute guy. I quickly walked up to him, "Look, I don't have time to explain, but can you please pretend to be my boyfriend? i asked him with puppy dog eyes. They never fail me.
Seconds haven't even past and Nathan is walking up to us, "So, you're Collins boyfriend?" He said, looking mad.
The guy looked at me, then at him, then at me, then at him again. He nodded, "Spencer." He said.
"Nathan," Nate introduced himself, "Why don't you come up to our apartment and we have a few drinks?" He asked Spencer, he agreed and we were on our way up
Oh boy....
:)
"Thank you so much!" I said to Spencer as we stood at my doorstep.
"Your welcome, but will you explain now please?" He asked polietly.
"Of course, you see, I was an orphan, but his family adopted me and he chose me to be engaged with because it's tradition to marry an orphan. But, he told me that he only chose me because I'm hot and he is still going to sleep with girls." I said in a rush.
He nodded in understanding, "Can I have you're number?"
"Excuse me?" I asked.
He gave me a listed grin, "I can't be you're boyfriend without you're number."
I jumped up and hugged him, "THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!" He chuckled and I gave him my number.
I smiled and walked inside. I was still smiling when Nathan went to stand infront of the TV show I was watching, "I don't like him." He said with a straight face.
"And I don't care." I said, still grinning, then skipped to my room.
I laid down and I couldn't fall asleep, my phone vibrated signaling I had recieved a text.
'Don't miss me to much ;). Sleep well, beautiful:)
Love, Spencer.'
And with that, I fell into a blissful sleep.
