Once upon a time, there was girl named Ella. She had a mean step-mother and two step-sisters who were just like their mother. The prince invited all the maidens in the land to a grand ball so he may find a bride.
Because of how mean they were, the step-mother didn't allow Ella to go to the ball while the the two step-sisters destroyed Ella's dress.
But Ella's fairy godmother gave her a beautiful gown and allowed her to join the ball. The prince and Ella fell in love but when the clock struck twelve, Ella had to go. She ran as quickly as she could so she ended up leaving one of her glass slippers.
By the prince's order, every maiden in the land must try on the slipper and whoever's foot fits the slipper will be the prince's bride.
Eventually, they found Ella and her foot fits the slipper so she was reunited with the prince. And they lived happily ever after!
Right? That's how the story goes?
You're all wrong.
That isn't how the story goes.
I should know because I am Cinderella or should you know me a more appropriate name.
