I wake up to a loud sound echoing throughout the hallway.
'What the fuck?' I ask myself as I go to check my phone
'fuck it's flat.' I tell no one but myself.

I hear another sound loudly bounce off the hallway walls. I get up to go see what it is as I grab my dead phone and walk out. Luckily, there was a mirror just outside the room I was in.

'I look horrid' I think as I try to fix up my hair. I hear another sound and look towards where it's coming from, not phased. I walk towards it and find myself in the small living room. I see... What was his name? Darryl? David? Shit, I can't remember. Whatever his name is, I see him sitting on the couch, back towards me, holding a beautiful bass guitar in his hands. He plucks another string as I walk up behind him and lean on the couch.

As I start to lean, I notice that what I thought would be a wooden bit of the couch, was NOT wooden. I fall forward and front flip onto the floor in front of the guy.

He stares at me in disbelief and as if it couldn't get more awkward, he starts to hysterically laugh. After a few seconds, I start to laugh with him, his laugh is infectious. After a few minutes, we're both on the ground, clutching our stomachs with tears streaming down our face to the wooden floor.

Once we calm down he sits up and rubs his face.

"I haven't laughed like that in a long time," He says as he leans back against the couch. "How did you manage to flip over the couch?" He asks, a wide smile across his face, in which he quickly takes back as his hand rushes up to try and soothe his aching face.

"I was gonna lean on it and listen to you play, but what I thought was wooden wasn't and I uh... Yeah, I fell." I giggle and look up at him.

He had a small smirk on his face as he gets up and heads towards the kitchen.

"Welp, I'm hungry. Want food?" He asks, smirking as he looks back at me.

"Oh my god yes."
