Chapter 1

"Alright, that's the end of our appointment for today" I said with a smile to the little boy and his mother, shuffling my papers and placing on my desk.

"See you again in three months." I said shaking the little boy's mother's hand. It was another average day in the in the California hospital.

"Thanks doctor Pereira, you're the best Pediatric surgeon in the world." Said the boy hugging me.

Sometimes the work can be the most boring, yet most rewarding.

"Thank you Sean." Said with a smile as I hugged him back.

Once they were out, my phone started buzzing, the unexpected call was from a friend I haven't spoken in what seemed forever, it was my best friend from high school, we had split up when I decided to go to university and she wanted to be an actress. Her name's Casandra but we just called her Cassie for short and mostly because we can't be bothered to actually call her real name.

"What's up Shaniah? Haven't spoken to you in ages" she said, with the bubbly tone in her voice that I've missed so much.

'I know, I've missed you so much! How are the auditions going!? Ever since you told me that you were go into America to be an actor I've been go into see like every movie that has been released! And you're not in any of them. I mean I'm not complaining. I've even watched Magic mike XXL." I said with a forming smile.

"Ah... OK..." she said in a weird tone. "I've been wanting to talk to you for a while, I have been auditioning but I'm getting severe back pains and I don't know what to do?" she said, and I could hear sniffles over the receiver, "it's really interfering with my work" she continued.

"Cassie don't worry you can make an appointment at the hospital and we'll check about it'' I reassured her smiling to myself at the thought of seeing her again.

"Thanks. You're really saving my life by saying that, Shaniah. And I mean literally." Said Cassie "hey, do you want to meet up some time and grab a coffee?" asked Cassie

"You know I'm lactose intolerant and I hate coffee! But sure when," I asked

"Is today alright with you?" Asked Cassie

"Bloody hell why not!?" I said looking at star bucks near the hospital

"Sure, see you there" excitedly said Cassie.

10 minutes later

A white Rolls Royce drove in to the car park and the woman that steps out is unrecognizable, she was with a man that I've seen many times. I smile when I saw Cassie coming out and made my way towards her.

"Hi Cassie you look absolutely amazing." I happily said with a smile on my face.

I wrapped my arms around her and gave her a hug. It was really too long since I've seen Cassie. I pulled back to see the man that was in the car with Cassie and tried my best not to stare.

"I love your hair!the red really suits you" she said complementing my shoulder length red hair.

"Thanks hun, I was bored with the red highlights so I decided to go fully red. Plus the black hair was pretty boring." I said as I twirled the curls at the bottom of my hair.

"Is that who I think that is!?" I randomly asked in astonishment

"Oh... I almost forgot, That's Jason Statham, you know the biggest action hero in like the 21st century. He's the main character in the movie I'm doing. I asked him if he wanted to join us and he surprisingly said yes" she calmy explained.

"I still remember how you absolutely adore him, so this is a bonus." she whispered, winking.

I almost could not believe it. Jason Statham. The Jason Statham. Right in front of me, in my presence.

"Shaniah, I'd like you to meet Jason Statham" Cassie introduced with her bright smile.

Jason looked directly at my eyes. I mean literally, he was looking at right me. He was wearing a brown t- shirt and black pants that hugged his muscular legs. His muscular arms were bulging through his short sleeved t-shirt.

"So you're the friend that Cassie talks non-stop about." He said, smirk. Not a smile, a smirk.

He raised his hand in front of me for a handshake. I hesitantly put my hand in his, hoping that he couldn't feel the sweat that was forming. We shook firmly before he let go.

"Well, let's head inside" said Cassie with her smile. Her tan skin along with her brown eyes and black locks flowing perfectly in the wind reminded me of how pretty she really was.

I noticed her smile at Jason who was holding the door for both of us. I followed them inside the Café. We sat down on a table with three chairs. I took the one facing the window while Cassie took the one on my left and Jason took the one on my right.

"I'm just going to the men's room." Informed Jason with with a smile. "Man business."he said with a smile as he walked over to the men's room, closing the door behind.

Once he was gone I got down to business. Though I saw a bulge in his right back pocket of his pants, I just thought it was his wallet.

"Information! Jason Statham! Now!" I said, emphasizing each word.

Cassie raised an eyebrow at me, the amusement clearly playing in her eyes

"Thought you might react like this. Okay, Jason is just here to take a break. Like I said before were only doing a movie together, nothing much." Said Cassie calmly.

"Just only the most gorgeous Hollywood hunk and sex machine sitting next to me!!" I said amidst my fingerling.

"Sorry guys," He said in his British accent as he sat down. After we had lunch Cassie had to leave to get her coffee. Jason was waiting till she came back.

"We should meet up for dinner some time." Said Jason in his lovely accent.

"Sure! when!?" I asked trying my best to keep a calm expression on my face.

"Tomorrow?" causally asked Jason. I shook my head.

"Can't, Sorry...  I've got a surgery tomorrow night." I said.

Jason looked at me in a weird way.

"I'm a  surgeon, I work in take hospital just around the corner." I said filling in the details that Cassie forgot to mention.

"That's cool." Said Jason as he smiled at me. "Do you specialise?" Enthusiastically Asked Jason.

"Pediatrics" I said with a smile. "Nice." Said Jason witg his gorgeous smile.

"Then, how about the day after tomorrow?" calmly asked Jason. "I'm not sure, but I can let you know." I said trying to figure out how I will let him know.

"Can i have your phone?" Asked jason with his hand extended out. "Sure" I said as I handed handed him my phone. "Call me when you can." Said Jason as he gave me his number

"OK'' was all I could blurt out. HE WAS GIVING ME HIS NUMBER OMG!!! it was the best day ever.!!!
