The Aphmau Cat

A New Adventure

Ok, just a quick little thing before u start.  This book is not about me.  The main character's name happens to be similar to mine, only because this fan fic is all about cats and I thought it was fitting to have that be her name.  Aphmeow is based of the character Aphmau from the series Minecraft Diaries.  So I didn't make this character up.  Ok, thx.  I hope u enjoy!

Yauuun. Aphmeow stretched out after a nice sleep. She looked about her surroundings and was reminded of yesterday's events. She sighed, sad that her owner had to leave her behind. Yesterday Aphmeow decided that it was time for an exploration into the real world. Last night's happenings had made her realize how pampered she really was.

So she set off. At first Aphmeow only saw house after house after house, but slowly but surely the city turned to countryside, and finally Aphmeow found herself trekking through a forest.

She wasn't used to walking through mud and dirt. It made her feel uncomfortable, for Aphmeow had no experience keeping her own fur very clean, and right now it was getting quite dirty.

As the sky turned darker, Aphmeow started to wonder how she would spend the night. Lucky for her, she happened not to be the only one searching aimlessly through the forest.

Crack! Aphmeow jumped. Something was out here with her. After considering her options, Aphmau chose to hide. But when she peeked out, her heart stopped beating. It was only another cat. Then Aphmeow remembered the stories she had heard about the rude and rambunctious, sometimes even violent, clan of cats that patrolled these woods.

She decided to back away as if she had never seen him. Suddenly, Crack! This time Aphmeow stepped on the twig. The brown cat's head spun toward her. It was hard to miss her with her bright purple coat.

At first the stranger's expression was one of fear, then when he realized that Aphmeow was of no threat, he padded over to her.

"Hey, what are u doing out here this late? Are you lost?" the cat says. Aphmeow shook her head, "No, my owner abandoned me, I'm just trying to find a new home."

The brown cat's face lit up. "A home u say? Well follow me, u can take refuge in our village." Village? "By the way, my name is Laurence, wat is ur name?"

"Um, my name is Aphmeow, it's nice to meet u Laurence." she says blushing.

They head off walking in silence. Laurence stops and Aphmeow stops too. "Now I have to give u this stupid oath, so essentially do u promise to tell no one where our village is." Laurence asks, suddenly getting serious. "Sure." Aphmeow said uncertainly.

They walk through the bush and Aphmeow looks around amazed. "U cats built this?!" she says in awe. All around her there are cats. Most of them sleeping, but some are still scrambling around. There r little houses and it just looks so amazing. Aphmeow is speechless. "I take it that u like it?" Laurence asks sarcastically. Aphmeow just nods.

So I hope u all like my new fanfic. I'm really excited about where this is going. I think I might not just ship larmau in this series, but we'll see. I hope u enjoy!
