Laurence POV
Yawn, I wake up to the sounds of my busy village. I haven't always lived here, I used to live in Cateli, but when Phoenix Drop sent word that they needed guards, I flew the coop and because second in command.
As I was reminiscing I heard shouts bellow. I walked over to the window and looked down, Garroth was directing evercat toward the big oak. I wonder wat the briefing will be about. I clamber down from my house and run over to Garroth.
"Anyway I can help?" I ask him. He shakes his head. I guess he has this under control. Just then I spot a ball of purple fluff under some leaves. I walk over and push the leaves off.
The ball of fluff is Aphmeow. I tap her lightly, and she rolls over. I tap her again and she opens her large amber eyes. "Good morning beautiful!" I say with a wink. She rolls her eyes and gets up stretching.
"Why did u wake me up. I was having a good dream." she says sarcastically. I laugh, "Because there is a meeting that the whole village is attending, and u r part of the village now."
She nods. "Um, so where do I go?" she asks. "Oh, well how 'bout I escort u?" I say, gesturing for her to follow me.
