The Journey

On the way

The world is a crazy place and the people that live here are even crazier. One thing that woundering, os there more out there? Is there more than just us? I think in this big space we can't be the only ones, and I was right. I woke up and the sun looked closer then it ever has, it is so hot that if you are out in it to long, well you get a really but sun burn. Now the city smells even more of burning and rotting people. I find Cody under a building about 3,000 yards away, so he does'nt burn like this city under the never ending fire of the sun. As I think of what to do all i hear in my head is "you need to get to him to save her." I look all around but I dont see a way to save him. The building he is under is about to fall a kill him. If I use my powers I might be able to stop the building, but I'm not strong enough. I walk around for a hour or two and I finally got to him. I walled uped to him, and I didnt look happy and he could tell. "What are you doing over here?" I ask him as he walks away from me. "Were are you going? Look at me as im talking to you!" As I go into his mind. "Hey we had a deal, if you stay with me I can get you to them to save them." I say to him as I get out of his mind and he turns around. "Im sorry I juat wanted to see if I could see it, to see how far we had to go." He said with a sad face. "Its okay, I said I was going to get you there and I ment it." I said to him. We started on the way there, its going to be a long walk. About three hours later he asked, "how long is it away?" "You are a very curious, aren't you. Well we might have a day or two of walking under our belt's." I say to him as I put my hand up over my eyes to look in the distance at their huge ship in the sky. "Do you know why they came? I thought about it for a long time and i just don't know." He says to me. I just look at him as he a very curious but scared face. "I don't know Cody, I don't know." I say to him as I start to walk to the ship. As we walk to the ship we hear a loud crash behind us. As Cody looks at me with fear in his eyes, "what was that?" He ask me. "I dont know, but it my not be freindly. Stay behind me with your gun ready and only shoot if i say shoot. Got it?" I wisper to him. He nods his head yes to me. We just stand there waiting, waiting for something to come up at us. Its been about thrity seconds and I slowly start to walk were we heard the noise. I look over the hill and I see one, I push him back so he wont get hurt and I tell him, "stay here i'll deal with them." Then I jump over and there are three of them in front of me, I shoot fire at one and I grab the other two with my mind and kill them by throwing them into a building. I walk back up to were Cody is and I have their blood on me. And I get to the top of the hill, I see a big smile on his face and he knows that I won that battle.
