Why Me?

It was another hot, and sunny day in Texas. But I still had to go to school which sucks my school never calls off for anything. So I got ready, I threw on some shorts and a tank top, did my hair, brushed my teeth, and headed for the bus. There is this guy named Zach Clayton and he is one of the most popular people in the school but for some reason he sits with me on the bus. But anyway I walk down to the bus stop and see Zach he is my neighbor but I just stand there and wait for the bus. Finally the bus came I sat in my normal seat and Zach sat next to me. I had the hugest crush on him since I moved here.

He snapped me out of my thoughts and said "Hey... "

I said "Oh.. Hey."

Then he said " So I was thinking... maybe we can hang out sometime?"

Oh my gosh he just asked me out well not really but to hang out.

Then before I could answer he put his hand on my hand and said "so is that a yes?". Before I could say anything the most popular girl Lexy took him by the hand and kissed him right in front of me. But he kissed back and I felt like my heart literally just broke into million pieces. But the good thing we were at school, so I ran off the bus and went to the bathroom and started to cry. How come I was so stupid I thought he actually liked me. He is the most popular guy at school I bet he is like that with a lot of girls I am not anyone special. I am still in the bathroom stall when I hear Lexy and her group of friends come in.

Lexy said " Yeah I kissed Zach right in front of her just to make her mad I don't even like him like that but she should know someone as ugly as her has no chance with him."

Then they walked out of the bathroom I was now crying like a waterfall. I washed my face and try to make it look like I was not crying. I walked out and saw Zach walking toward me I started walking quickly because I do not want to talk to him. But before I could get to my next class someone pulled me and held me by the waist. I looked up and of course those amazing hazel eyes it was Zach.
