I climb up the stairs of a red double decker bus. When I get to the top, I see that I'm not the only one up there and sit in the very front. Hey, you can't blame a girl, it's really cool up there. I sling my backpack to my lap and pull out my iPhone. Quickly, I plug in my super expensive Beats headphones and slip them over my head. Beethovan's Piano Sonata No.9 in E Major, one of my faves. I pull my textbook out and decide to start my research. Ugh, uni can be so dreadful sometimes. After the amazing masterpeice by Beethovan is over, a song by One Direction comes on. I groan and take my headphones off. Jon must've put this on here, for 'study parties'. Before I can get my phone out of my pocket, I hear a girl.

"No! Let's sit at the front!!" She sounds really excited. I turn back and see a brunette girl dragging who I think is her boyfriend to the front. I realize they are coming to me. I snap my book shut and the girl turns to me. "Can we sit here?" She gestures to the two seats next to me.

"Sure." I half smile at them. They've got matching sunglasses on, and are holding hands. They sit down and I pull my phone out of my pocket. Before I can go to a different song the girl speaks up.

"I love that song! It's Back For You, right?" She smiles and takes off her sunglasses.

"Yup. But I don't really like it. One of the lads must've put it on here to annoy me." I smile at her and hope she'll let me continue to study. She's nice and all, but I'd rather be studying than talking to a stranger. Her smile isn't as bright anymore, and I hope that means she's going to stop talking to me.

"Wait, you don't like One Direction?" Oh well, I stick my textbook back in my bag and nod with a look of 'duh' on my face. She continues talking, but I don't care anymore. "Why not? They have amazing music, and, well, they're really cute..." She smiles at her boyfriend in an embarrised way. He turns to her.

"El.." She blushes deeply and clears her throat.

"Anyway.. Where are you headed?" She's perky again. This girl reminds me of girl I knew in grade nine. My brother's girlfriend.

"The moon, to stick the Union Jack in place of the Stars and Stripes." I reply sarcastically. She laughs and smiles more. Her laughing is adorable, and sounds just like the girl I knew.

"Lou and I are headed to Starbucks. I freaking love that place. Where are you really going?" I sigh and tell the truth.

"I'm headed to Starbucks as well." She smiles and nudges the boys arm. I think they'll let me continue studying, so I pull the textbook back out. I look at my phone, which is sadly and iPhone 3, and it's playing Mozart's Symphony No.40 in G Minor. The headphones go back on and I almost forget about the couple next to me. Almost.

By the time we get to our stop, my phone is playing Paradise by Coldplay, which I really like, so I let it blast in my ears. I follow the couple down the stairs and out the door. But when we get off the bus, I pass them and start walking to Starbucks. I get there in good time and walk to the counter. I take my headphones off and look quickly at the menu.

"I'll have a medium mocha cookie crumble frap." I order quickly. The girl at the counter doesn't look like she's in a good mood. She groans and puts on a fake smile.

"Name please." She asks me in a very monotone voice.

"Everlee. Thanks." Suddenly she's smiling like there's no tomorrow. Confused, I start to turn to sit.

"We'll have that for you in a mo, please wait." She's bubbly and smiling as I walk away to sit in a booth. I stick my headphones back on and put my phone on the table. I pull out the textbook again and start to study. Hey, i've a big test in three days, I need to study. Blah, mind, blah, frontal lobe, blah psycology. For some reason I can't focus on my book. I'm just trying to figure out who that girl is. In the middle of Chopin's Waltz No.1 in D-Flat Major, there's the sound of my phone unlocking. I ignore it, like I usually do. I don't have a passcode, so the lads unlock it all of the time.

"For a One Direction hater, you sure do have a lot of their music." It's that girl from the bus. I pull off my headphones and look up. She's sitting across the booth from me with her boyfriend. He's still got sunglasses on and his hood up. Sheesh, got a problem dude? I realize that if I ordered before them, and they have their drinks, mine is probably done.

"Shit." I mumble and slide out of the booth.

"Hmm?" She looks up from my phone. I turn and walk to the counter as the girl calls out.

"Everlee, medium mocha cookie crumble frap? Last time!" I run up and grab the drink, after showing her my recipt. I walk back to the booth and drink in the deliciousness of my mocha. I get back to the booth and the two are kissing. Ugh, PDA much? I slide back in and grab my phone.

"So, what are you two doing in my booth?" I ask the two after the little display is over. I don't really look at them, just flip through my book. Not like I'm really reading it.

"Didn't you hear me on the bus?" I raise my eyebrows and shake my head. She gives an exasperated sigh. "I said we'll all go to Starbucks together!" She seriously reminds me of my brother's old girlfriend. She smiles at me, but then gets a really questioning look.

"You remind me of someone I knew..." She trails off and I smile. So, I'm not crazy. I finish my mocah and see that they've both already finished theirs. Her boyfriend breaks her trance.

"Eleanor, we should probably get going, if we're going to see the lads." She mumbles something and grabs my phone. "El, what are you doing? And why did we sit with her anyway?" I try to see what she's doing on my phone. She turns it to me. It's a picture of me and Brogan, my brother. We are standing outside of our old house. That's a way old pic.

"Is that your brother?" She points to Brogan. I nod. Her face lights up, but then she blushes. "Sorry Lou." She mutters. Looking up she states, "You're Everlee Glen." I see her face more clearly and instantly remember.

"And you're Eleanor Calder." I smile, and she does too. Of course! How could I forget her?
