CHAPTER 23:Mr. Steal Your Girl

SINCE MUSIC FEST IS COMING FAST IN LESS THAN A MONTH, and Kai is eager to win this competition so he could prove that he can be the best. Therefore, he called Jiyeon for practice at the club building.

Jiyeon was happy when she learned that they'll practice in the afternoon, so, he had a long nice sleep last night and she can breathe freely since they are through with the examinations.

Jiyeon's get up today was all black, black Adidas jogger pants, black loose jacket, and a black long-sleeve cropped top underneath the jacket. She like to feel comfortable when dancing.

As soon as she reached the studio that Kai noted her, she heard a powerful music behind that door.

She took a peek first before deciding to enter since she saw Kai's bag laying down the floor.

And to Jiyeon's surprise, she saw 5 figures who were dancing powerfully to the beat of the sound. She looked into the mirror to check who's who, and there she saw Kai, Luhan, Taemin, and their sunbaes—Henry and Eunhyuk.

No one bothered to greet Jiyeon since the boys are concentrating from dancing. She sat on the side, watched them on the reflection of the mirror and waited them to finish. But, she did noticed that Luhan looked at Jiyeon—probably got distracted since someone came.

They made a striking ending pose after the music has ended. They stared at their own selves at the mirror and examine how well did they do, they catch their breath, sweat rolling down their faces despite the cold temperature.

Some of them literally lie down the floor when they have decided to break the pose. Kai greeted Jiyeon with a smile while he was walking to his bag, which is next to Jiyeon. Kai was wearing a Nike sweat pants, a plain white shirt and a black beanie. Jiyeon noticed that Kai is still catching his breath, so she gave Kai an energy drink next to his bag so she assumed that that was his.

"Thanks," Kai said as he sat beside Jiyeon. "So, who was the best dancer among us?" he asked mockingly, he's confident that Jiyeon may said that he is.

"Meh. I didn't really noticed, I came in right before when you're almost done."

Jiyeon noticed that Luhan was also going to her direction, then, she noticed the other bag beside her. So she assumed that it was his. Luhan was wearing skinny jeans partnered with printed white shirt and a snapback. Even though she felt distant around him, she handed the water bottle next to Luhan's bag to him. She didn't want him to feel that only Kai could taste her special service.

Jiyeon sometimes can be really complicated.

"Oh, kumapta [Thank you]. I needed this," Luhan sat down in front of his bag to get his towel to wipe off his sweat, then, he faced the two.
