The Class President

A day after Chronos started trusting his friends more, he felt as his life could move on, yet the worst was yet to come. The student picture came along and Hajime was no where to be found, which made Karin worried. Chronos promise her he was going to check up on him since he didn't like seeing her worried like that.

Karin: Thanks Chronos you really are the sweetest. *smiles sweetly at him*

Chronos: *blushes scratching the back of his head* Is really nothing. I'll go look for him now *starts to walk to the door but gets stop by Mari*

Mari: I will accompany you.

Chronos: Sure.

As they walk to the student's council room. Mari was trying to make a conversation with him but fail since awkward silence was too strong. When they finally arrive to the classroom they didn't saw Hajime inside but Chronos went in anyway.

Mari: We aren't allowed in here.

Chronos: No one is here so it doesn't matter.

Voice: That's quite rude.

Both: *they turn to the voice scared* Who is there?!

Voice: My name is Azuka Hiyori. I am the class president.

Mari: Where's Hajime?

Hiyori: Well he must be working. I was waiting for you two actually. We should all play a fun game. Don't you think?

Chronos: huh?

Hiyori: Do you think it sounds fun? *laughs*

Chronos: No, thank you! *grabs Mari's hand and starts to head to the door*

Hiyori: Then you really must not care about your friends.

Chronos: What are you talking about?

Hiyori: I guess that means you'll play. *grabs a card from her pocket* You have ten minutes to find and save them or else.

Mari: Or else what?

Hiyori: You'll see... *the card shines and demons appear all around the school halls and classrooms* Let's have a small race who save or who beats more? What's better?

Chronos; Are you nuts?! *looking out the window*

Hiyori: No. I am just having a little fun. Aren't you?

Mari: Chronos we better get moving we don't know in what danger are they in. *pulling his arm*

Chronos; Yeah you're right. Hey... *looks around not finding Hiyori anywhere* dammit...

Mari: I'll stay here.

Chronos: Is better if we stick together.

Mari: I can't fight. *looks down*

Chronos; Is ok. I just don't want to leave you here alone.

Mari: Then let's go. *smiles at him while blushing*

Chronos: Ugh... Hey you're face is red.

Mari: Is just you're imagination.

Chronos takes out his scythe to start repealing demons with Mari by his side. They slowly made it to the classroom finding Jayden fighting some demons using dual swords.

Chronos: You're a hunter? *staring at him confused*

Jayden: Huh? Yeah. Didn't I told you? I don't have special abilities or anything so don't be so impressed.

Mari: It will make it more simple for us to find the others.

Chronos; I know.

Jayden: What happen?

Chronos; Is a long story actually and I am too lazy to explain.

Hajime: Simple to explain. Hiyori challenge you to her games.

Chronos: Were you also challenge?

Hajime: Yeah the moment I became class v.p.

Jayden: What do we have to do?

Hajime: Just get all of your close friends in one place and she will show up to fight you.

Chronos: Is she strong?

Jayden: Then we better find Karin.

Mari: I should stay here.

Chronos; *looks at Mari confused* Why do you say that?

Mari: *looks down* I am not a hunter.

Hajime: Then she won't be of much help to us.

Chronos: I can't leave you here behind.

Mari: If you don't go Karin could be in danger.

Jayden: She is right.

Chronos: *looks into her eyes* I'll come find you. I promise.

Mari: *nods* Yes.

Chronos, Jayden and Hajime left the classroom to find Karin.
