I'll stay by your side no matter what.

That night Chronos went straight to bed. To many memories started to make his night uncomfortable, so he decided to go have a walk outside after changing his clothes. Seeing the moon and the starts gaze at him he started to feel more calm.

Chronos: I still can't believe they went through all that trouble for me... *looks down while smiling* I feel lucky having them as friends.

Mari: *walking towards him and stands by his side* You really are lucky.

Chronos: Ah! Oh Tachibana! *stares at her a bit freak out* W-What are you doing here? *thinking* Man this girl is way to creepy.

Mari: ...I enjoy seeing the night sky before sleeping...

Chronos: *looks at her* That's something I never picture you liking.

Mari: ...Amaterasu-kun... *turns to face Chronos feeling a cold breeze between them*

Chronos: Yes?

Mari: Go to your house or you'll might get a cold.

Chronos: *smiles at her* You should do the same. *notices her almost trembling arms* You are cold already. *takes off his jacket and slowly covers her with it*

Mari: *blushes while looking at him* A-Amaterasu-kun... *then smiles* Go home I don't wish to see you sick.

Chronos: You too. *waves at her while walking to his house*

Mari: ... *looks down then at the moon*

The next morning Chronos woke up early to school. Arriving with no problem as he took the bus there. Noticing that Jayden and Karin were having a talk he was planning to avoid them, yet they call him to they're side.

Jayden: Is not polite to ignore your friends.

Chronos: Since when have you notice I cared about that fact?

Karin: *hugging Chronos* Hey no arguing so early in the morning.

Chronos: *smiles as he is being hug by her and slowly pets her head* Yeah, you're right.

Jayden: The power of Karin-sama to calm down Chronos! *bows down to Karin*

Karin: Yeah be afraid of my power whahaha *acting high and mighty*

Chronos: I sometimes I wish I was seen by other people when you two are close. *sighs*

Karin: Don't say things like that.

Jayden: Very mean.

Chronos: Where's Hajime? *looks around since this is mostly the time when he shows up*

Karin: He had a meeting so... won't be with us in class.

Chronos: That is good and relief a day of peace.

The class bell rings and all the students start heading to their classrooms. Today classes were dull and slow they teacher gave a lot for them to write and students anxiously waited for lunch. When the time came Chronos, Karin and Jayden went to their roofs.

Jayden: Finally the best time of the day. *stretching while holding his lunch*

Karin: Yes it is!! *swirls around*

Chronos:...I didn't see Tachibana in class today... *loss in thought*

Jayden: Well maybe she's sick. Her health is so weak that she gets sick from anything.

Chronos: What do you mean?

Jayden: Well Hajime told me that.

Karin: True last year we were in the same classroom and she didn't went much since she was always getting sick.

Chronos: *not thinking twice he stand up and ran from the roof top to the classroom halls* Man if I would have known before. But I promise I'll make it up to you Mari. By taking care of you.

In Mari's house.

Mari: *lying down resting while a maid took care of her* ...Can I go now?

Maid: Of course not, my Lady you need as much rest as possible *puts a wet towel on Mari's forehead*

Mari: Where's mom and dad?

Maid: They left to work. They said if you need something to inform us.

Mari: ...I want to be alone...

Maid: Yes, My Lady. *leaving her room*

Mari: Is always the same. Me alone with the maids... why isn't anything I do good enough? *holds her pillow while crying*

Maid: *walks to the kitchen to make Mari some soup*

Chronos: *out of breath while knocking on the door*

Maid: *opens the door* Yes? Who are you? *notices the uniform* Are you a classmate of My Lady?

Chronos: Y...Yes I am... Is she doing alright?

Maid: She is fine. Now if you excuse me. *about to close the door but it's stop by Chronos's hand* Mister.

Chronos; Can I see her?

Maid: Mister I am not allowed to let you in the house.

Chronos: I need to see her, please she is a close friend of mine.

Maid: Just for a little while.

Chronos: Thank you *runs inside of the house* where is her room?
Maid: *points at a door* That's her room

Chronos: Thank you! *runs to her room and opens the door* Mari... w-why are you crying? *closes her door and walks towards her* Did something happen?

Mari: A-Amaterasu-kun?! *wiping her tears away* W-What are you doing here?

Chronos: I was worried about you... Also... *caresses her hair* Call me Chronos...

Mari: A-Are you sure? *blushing while looking into his eyes*

Chronos: Of course. I plan on being by your side until you feel better.

Mari: C-Chronos... *smiles at him*

Maid: *looking at them through a small hole on the door* ...Lady Mari...

That entire week Chronos spend his time taking care of Mari after school. They got to know each other better as the week ended she was already feeling better and went back to school. Were all of their close friends were wondering how was she. The trust and bond between got stronger.
