(Readers pov)
I lay awake in bed thinking about Carlo I feel my face heat up wait a minute, am I blushing!? I can't love him!! It's been like three days!. Within my jumbled thoughts I failed to notice Allyson at the door. "So something bothering you?" I jump at her voice I sighed and responded "y-ya" I look away blushing "what is" she asks I don't respond "you're in love aren't you" she says with a smirk. "W-WHAT N-NO" are yell at her with a stutter. "New it" she says with a singsong voice I growl at her. "How did you know?" I ask "well we met some pretty cute people and you're kind of a blushing stuttering mess and you don't stutter often." She states with the triumphant smile on her face "so who is it, is it Carlo! It's Carlo is in it." She looks excited I do not fall in love often I was never one for love. I look away blushing before looking back the look on her face knows that she was right.
(Carlo's pov)
"am I in love with her or not" I ask myself it's a hard question. I think of the facts i've known her for three days, I saved her life, she led me out of the cave, I helped saved her life again with the help of Chris and Allyson, she's really cute, she's very kind, a really good miner and from what I can tell we have quite a few of the same interests. [an: when you aren't there and they're together they discovered this this isn't just a guess Carlo has made because of the cookies in the last chapter..... OK I'm going to shut up now] i'm beginning to except the fact that I like her and relax "I like her but I'm not sure how to tell her" I think out loud Chris is asleep so I have no worries I go sit by my window and look out at the stars her birthday is coming up so that's probably going to be a bit awkward maybe I'll tell her then or maybe I'll chicken out only time will tell. I go back to bed and relax time to sleep.
OK so this chapter wasn't that short but it's basically filler. I need some help for the birthday chapter next chapter is probably going to be all about it here is a list of what I need:
- A present for Chris to give you
- A book series you guys like
- Three different things that you will do during the birthday
- and will Carlo confess or not
