^^^Above: The letter i is a mathematical symbol to represent an imaginary number, also defined by the square root of -1 (because it is imaginary, it is not classified as a real number.) The π (pi) is the representative greek letter for the number 3.1415926..., that of which has decimals that go on forever and never end, thus making the number "irrational." Preface
Algebra 1 may just be one of the most important courses a person could take while they are in school, for the concepts a person learns in Algebra one are the fundamentals for the rest of the classes a person could take in their high school, and even collage years. It is important in today's rapidly growing, mathematical society to understand the concepts of Algebra 1, especially with new technology and science popping up all around us.
This was the very reason I designed this book. In my classes I took I noticed that, although the subjects were being taught thoroughly, the classroom lacked clear definition on what it was we were doing and defined rules and steps to follow. Thus, I have decided to design my own book laying out the exact RULES as to what the student is to be following, and have precisely laid out those extra little pesky rules and extras that hang around and are easy to forget. So, without further ado, Algebra One: Explained.
About the Author
If you have read any of my other books (found at @weathergirlwx), one could tell I am a science (particularly astronomy, physics, and meteorology) and math fan. I like writing and have written many books here on wattpad, some of which are sci-fi and some of which are fantasy. Not only that, but I enjoy teaching and math, and the applications and hidden mysteries in it.
