#10 •First Step To Be A Super Hero•

Remy~
I was at Dante's house with Sierra, Holly, and H. Avery and Lolo didn't wanna come because they say that Dante is gonna 'sink their ship.' "So Dante, what powers do you have?" I asked. "Invisibility, flying, shape shifting, fire, water, and telekinesis." He said. The rest of our jaws dropped. "That's a lot." Holly said. "Heh, you can always discover new powers." He said "Well can you help us control this flying thing." I said slightly floating. "Of course." Dante said.

With an hour of flying practice we were pretty good. "I'm gonna go get us some water, want some?" Dante asked. "Sure." We all said. Once Dante left H started talking "Just try to keep your water in your mouth this time." The rest of the girls laughed including me. "Just don't surprise me." I said with a smirk. Then Dante snuck up behind me and grabbed my shoulders. "Like this!" He yelled. I screamed because that scared the crap out of me! I turned around and hit Dante in the arm. "Don't do that again!" I tried to sound intimidating but I was laughing so it wasn't really working. We were all laughing our butts off. I really wished Avery and Lolo were here. "So Dante, have you ever thought about being a super hero?" Holly asked. "No, being a super hero requires a lot of work. Not to mention it's dangerous." Dante said. "Well I'm willing to go through that." I said. "Well I'm willing to help you guys get started." Dante said. "Yay!" Sierra squealed. "First your gonna need your team, And your helpers, the people who find your crimes and help you get through them." Dante said. "Well our team will be H, Holly, Lolo, Avery, Sierra, and I. And our helpers can be you and Daniel." I said. "I'm not really sure Daniel likes me, how am I supposed to work with him?" Dante asked. "Don't worry, he doesn't like any guy that gets too close to Remy." H said. My cheeks turned a faint pink. So did Dante's but it wasn't very noticeable. "Oh don't worry about that part." I smirked.

Sierra~
Remy smirked her signature smirk. "Should I be afraid." Dante whispered. "Maybe." I whispered back. "So what's the next step?" I asked. "Step two is to find a name for both you and your group." Dante said. "Since Holly has cat powers her name should be
Cat-tastrophe!" Remy said "Hmm ok." Holly said "I want my name to be Pearl!" H said. "Ooh! And I want to be Flame blaze or just Blaze." Remy said. Hmm, I can't think of anything! "I don't know what my name should be." I said. "Lemme text Avery and Lolo what they want." Remy said typing on her phone. 3 minutes Remy's phone buzzed and she checked it and laughed. "Avery said... Pshh fight me Remy, cause I haven't thought of that yet and superhero names are overly cliche, thus I will be the differenciant of the group and say that I in fact do not want to be put into some silly costume and run around at that I thus protrude that my superhero name is something I do not have on my head yet because I'm playing a video game right now." Remy said and laughed. "And Lolo said she wants her name to be Vizzy." Remy added on. "Why don't I invite the group over, it'll-..." Remy stopped mid-scentence as her phone buzzed, she quickly checked her texts. Avery had texted her again it said, 'Remy, if you want us to come over I'll drag Lolo with me mm'k, and sorry names aren't my thing, we'll be over in a sec.' "Alright their going to be here soon." Remy said. Almost thirty minutes later Avery showed up, almost literally dragging Lolo. Their arguing was pretty apparent too, "He's ruining my ship, Avery!" Avery rolled her eyes, "Yea yea we get it Lolo, can you stop your complaining for one second we aren't anywhere close to 'him' right now." Avery grabbed her phone real quick, it looked like she was texting somebody and Lolo looked at her phone. I mean it's not like Lolo could lean over her shoulder since Avery was pretty tall.

Avery~

God does he have to text me right now, he's so irritating sometimes! I rolled my eyes slightly looking at my phone. I nudged Lolo slightly, making it to where she couldn't see my phone. I heard Lolo complain, "Aww, Avery who are you texting?" I shook my head and looked at Lolo, "Somebody, but nobody of your concern." What's with my serious attitude all the sudden..? I sighed and looked at Lolo, ruffling her hair slightly and rolling my eyes. "So Remy, what'd we missed?" I asked Remy. "Oh, just deciding super hero names and other powers and stuff." I grinned, "So I didn't miss a lot huh?" I joked, I did look up however when Remy said other powers. "So how many have we found except the flying, I'm the only one that can't because I'm pretty down to Earth." I rolled my eyes at my own pun and looked over to Dante. "So, nerd, what's with the other power talk?" I was going to call him nerd because I literally call almost everyone that. ((A/N: I really do actually. Now back to our regularly scheduled program!-via Avery 2016)) "Just telling them that it's possible to discover other powers." Dante mumbled, and I nodded. "Alright then." My phone buzzed again and I checked it, the number had no contact because I would never put this person's name in my phone. I felt my face turn red and I quickly typed back, 'Your such an arse, you know that!' I rolled my eyes. I was pretty upset with him right now. I felt my face turn a bright crimson at the next text, she read over the words multiple times. She shook her head and read them again, 'Sorry sweetheart, doing my best not to be.' I almost immediately put my phone into my jacket pocket. Remy looked over, "You alright?" I shook my head vigorously. "No, I'm not!" I shouted and got pretty defensive. Lolo looked at me, "You know I hate to repeat myself sometimes but who are you texting?" I sighed, "A person, and he's gotten on my nerves now." I mumbled and sighed checking my phone again. I checked my text again and squeaked loudly at the new text on screen. "A-alec!" I stuttered out loud dropping my phone in the process of freaking out. I picked my phone up before anyone could. I hugged the phone to my chest and let out a frustrated sigh. "Geez, when will he not do this to me..." Lolo looked at me, "When will he not, when did you meet him?" I rolled my eyes, "Summer after eighth grade." I wasn't going to go all into detail about it. "He's a guy that's all!" I was getting pretty defensive at this point, almost yelling pretty much. I shook my head, "He's an idiot too!" Lolo grinned, "Does someone have a little crush?" I blushed, "No, I promised myself no one at all after the Andre incident..." Lolo rolled her eyes and Remy did too. "Yea right Avery, you can't deny yourself for much longer you act as though he's no one..." I mumbled, "Yea your probably right... but we can't get too side tracked!" I nodded, "So nerd I think I know what another power of mine is." Dante looked at me, "Oh? Show us then." I looked at him. "Excuse you I've only tried it on a cat." I rolled my eyes and looked at the door, crossing my arms over my chest. "Alright, then try it on a cat." Dante just looked at me, "Yea yea nerd, don't rush me I don't carry cats everywhere you know." I said "Well Holly can turn into a cat!" Remy pointed out. "What?! I never signed up for this!" Holly yelled "Pwease!" Remy pouted. "We want to learn about as many powers as we can!" Remy said "Fine." Holly said with a sigh. "Alright it's just it might not work since Holly isn't actually a cat... but I will try my best." I mumbled watching as Holly turned into a cat. I nervously crouched down looking at Holly, "Hey buddy, promise me if you remember what happens will still be cool alright." I sighed slightly trying to concentrate on what I did the first time I tried this, "Alright, Holly listen to me, and sit down, alright?" I asked, my voice began to calm down and slightly change pitch to the one I would use to calm my sister at a young age. I nervously watched Holly sit down after I had asked, her eyes still watching me. "Alright, Holly, hold one paw up for me alright?" Holly held her paw up, still watching me. "I can't tell if she's doing this because I ask her or it's actually working..." I mumbled. "We can try it again later if you want Avery." I shuddered when I heard Dante use my name and I looked back at him. "Nerd, don't act like I don't know how to do things." I retorted, venom dripping from my voice. Dante nodded, eyes widened slightly when I snapped at him. Remy looked at me, with worry or concern. "Avery you ok..?" I nodded slightly, "Yea, I'm fine." I had snapped unintentionally because I get really nervous sometimes and super emotional, it's unintentional most of the time.I looked at Dane, "Hey, sorry for snapping..." He looked at me and grinned, "Hey, no worries Avery, we're still cool." I could tell he was nervous...Wait why can I taste vinegar?  I looked bewildered at this point, Sierra looked at me and shrugged. She had read my mind again, huh? I nervously looked at Dante and the vinegar taste in my mouth became stronger. I was really confused and looked at Remy, "Does anyone else taste vinegar?" Lolo looked at me like I was insane. Everyone shook their heads and I sighed, "Well guess I'm just imagining things huh?" Remy nodded, "Probably." Dante looked at me, "Looks like one of the girls got a double dose of a tall glass of karma." I looked at him and pointed to myself. "Yea, you, Avery I think I know what's going on with you it's a side effect of earning powers really fast. You can taste vinegar and you can tell I'm nervous right?" I nodded as he spoke, my eyes widening. "I should of known this would end up happening to one of you, Avery you can taste emotions alright? It won't kill you but it can prove to be a really big weakness." I looked at him, "This is getting way too fantasy stuff for me, I'm out guys." I said, walking away slowly.
