Chapter 4

Now that we have been eating for an hour, and been having fun...it did't go to well when his friends showed up. They seemed to have just came from a party or something and they were heading our way, i think Chris saw them coming but just wanted to pretend like he didn't see them until they got right beside our table. Their were 4 of them Alex, Timothy, Elizabeth, and the worst of all Amanda Chris ex-girlfriend.

" Hey Chris what up?" - Timothy

" Hey guys whats up? Where are you guys coming from? " - Chris

" Oh we just came from a really big party held by Josh, you should have came it was really cool " - Elizabeth

It seemed like they were pretending i wasn't there, but i could defiantly feel Amanda's harsh stare from a mile away.

" Oh well okay sounds awesome, see you guys later " - Chris

" No wait. Whose your friend here? How are you not going to introduce her to your friends?! " - Amanda

"...O-K well this is Jess she is my friend, she goes to our school. " - Chris

Even though this is just a first date...still hurt to here the " just friends " title.

" Hey, my nam- " - Jess

" Jess? She goes to our school? Never seen her before in my life and she's in our grade? " - Amanda

" Yea she goes to our school...and in our grade, and we are in the middle of a date right now and I would like to get back to it. " - Chris

"A date?! Haha with her? why? when you have me? " - Amanda

She sat down in his lap after that...can you believe this? Im telling you every time something goes good for me something like this happens. Why did she even have to do that, they broke up is it wrong for him to go on dates when you broke up with him! ~Ugh~

" Amanda ge-" - Chris

....Before he could even finish, do you think you know what happened? Let me tell you...she kissed him. By now i can tell when I'm not needed, and why stay and punish myself. So i put money on the table and got up, Chris asked me where I was going but I didn't look back or say anything. I forgot that he drove me there so now i needed to figure out a way to get back to my car, i knew I should have just drove myself.

I guess I will just have to walk.

Chris ad kept calling me but by the time I got to my car and got home I was to tired to do anything/ talk to anyone. I told my friends what happened and they gave me advice told me to call him, but they said I should get some rest first, but that rest ended up turning into going to bed.

When I woke up it was time for me to get ready for school, which I was not looking forward to because I'm sure Amanda has told all her friends and they probably told the whole school by now. When I went to look at my phone I had a few texts from my friends, but there was a lot of missed calls from Chris and a bunch of texts as well. The texts would say stuff like I'm sorry, call me back or text me back, and are you okay?, just stuff like that. Apart of me was happy that i had received so many texts and calls from him but at the same time i didn't want to talk to him. I know it wasn't him who kissed Amanda but it's the fact that he didn't come after me when I left, he didn't come pick me up when I was walking to my car, sometimes you have to talk not call.
