••Chapter 6••

~Skye's POV ~

I ran and ran, and ran, even when my feet started to hurt, I ran. I knew I couldn't go much longer and I finally collapsed to the ground.

I finally took in my surroundings. I was in the middle of the forest. I crawled to a near by tree and sat against it, hugging my legs against my chest, I silently sobbed.

'Why did they make fun of me? Are my powers horrible? Do I look stupid when I do them?' thoughts whizzed around my head.

~Niall's POV~

"OOOHHH CAN'T THE LITTLE CRY-BABY NOT TAKE GETTING HER WAY??"

Louis said.

I thought it was a funny little joke until I looked over at the Storm girl who was fuming. What's her problem? Can't she take a joke?

Suddenly I heard her sister yell while jumping on her, pushing her to the ground, "RUN NOW GUYS !!"

And of course I ran when I noticed that Storm's outfit had ripped and completely changed.

It was quite scary, to tell you the truth.

She had a green long dress on with rips here and there, her hair went a little darker, purple mask still covering her eyes that were now swarming with black.

She was not normal anymore, she didn't just have the power of weather, and judging by the black smoke that came around, her I'm guessing this power is not good.

Spirit tried to calm her which only caused her to be shoved into a wall, I watched Harry run to her, but stopped when a shield of ice was raised, blocking us from helping her.

Spirit spoke to her and it seamed to be working, I couldn't tell what she was saying as the words were muffled by the ice-wall.

When Storm finally calmed down and changed back, her costume was partially ripped here and there, patches of tanned skin could be seen. Tears started to well up in her eyes as she mouthed an "I'm so sorry," to her sister.

Spirit let down the shield, and with that Storm fled the centre.

I don't know what got into me but I followed her. If I could tell you why I followed her, I would, but I don' t know. I just did.

She ran for what felt like hours, and I followed...

I noticed she ran into a near by woods, and I realised I was far behind so I used my super speed to catch up. I soon saw her collapse to the ground. She leaned against a tree and hugged her legs to her chest. She started sobbing barely audible words, but I heard them.

Feeling bad for her, I quietly sat down beside her. She hasn't noticed though. "I have to admit your powers were pretty cool. You didn't look stupid when you did them.." I said causing her to bop her head up a little from surprise, but then went back to her spot.

"Ermm thanks, did I say that stuff out loud?" She paused and sighed. "And of course I have great powers, you wouldn't have all laughed if they were good." she said laughing sarcastically at the last part.

I saw tears well up in her eyes again.

SHOOT, NIALL WHY ARE YOU SUCH AN IDIOT?! I mentally face-palmed.

"Why are you crying again?" I asked trying to stay calm.

"You wouldn't understand, not that you would care," she whispered looking away from me and standing up, brushing herself off.
