Lily; Part II

It was only 7pm, I sat there on the couch. The same couch I slept on for the first weeks of school. Jack would wake me up by walking across my body. He'd lick me to death, until he was forced outside. I'd brush my teeth, which I rarely did. Karen, who Jack belonged to, would give me orange juice with my breakfast. I'd sip and make a cringed up face, because of the mix of the tooth paste and sourness of the juice. I'd take my medicine with the same juice, and wait for my sister. But it was only today that I wasn't sleeping at Karen's house. We were there for a D-group, she cooked the meal; gluten and lactose free, and we read about God. Jack was there but he was silently laying on the floor, which was unusual. He whined a little, and Karen said he wanted to go outside. I offered to go, as to make up for the crappy job I did in the summer. I put on Jacks leash and harness, then we walked outside. I had his leash locked in place so he couldn't get too far. It was too dark for anything allowed too much freedom. I turned the flashlight on my phone on, then I continued walking. Examining every car with the light, I waited for someone to jump out. Or a almost dead person screaming from the back seat of a car. I waited, fearing what would peer out of the window of each vehicle.  Jack peed, and I put the light over him so Michael Myers would be seen if he were out for Jack. I waited to be chased down the street with the dog. I feared that GhostFace would jump out and chase me. When we were at a familiar block I gave in, I ran down the block with Jack. Jack twirled around me not knowing what caused me to run. I fixed Jack to the side he started on. But continued running. I wanted to stop, but I feared so much. 'He's gunna get you!! Michael Myers is gunna get you!! Jason is gunna get you!! GhostFace is gunna get you.' I wasn't safe. I was severely scared. Out of breath, me and Jack reached Karen's house. We went inside the door, and everyone stayed silent, as my breath took up the blank air. I gave Jack a treat, for being under control for the walk. I relaxed, sitting back down. But only on the floor, it was the only thing available.
