(2nd pov)

You ran a hand through your (h/c) hair (/\ that's what your hair style is). You had your helmet tucked under your arm. Your military boots made a loud thudding sound on the metal floor. It echoed through the all too empty halls. You heard a slight whoosh behind you. Slyly slipping your hand into your jeans pocket you gripped the handle of your weapon. You sensed someone about to grab you so you whipped out your weapon. It may have looked like just a grip enhancer, but that was before it became the actual weapon. The grip quickly extended a metal barrel then a power source it quickly powered up. It was pointed at persons face. You could see the bright blue meaning that the military grade gun was powered and ready for shooting.

You turned your head. You giggled as you saw that the barrel of the gun was pointed straight at the nose of your partner, Sky. The chestnut haired man was slowly raising his arms in surrender even through the black glass of his sun glasses you could tell his gaze never moved from the gun. You giggled and shook your head lowering the weapon it powered down and regressed back to its grip form. You swatted at one of Sky's resilient chestnut curls and continued down the hall. He trailed next to you.

(Timeskip.)

"Ok guys today's mission is you have to take down base Setiga, but also get the Sapphire Drive." Ty explained tapping the desk causing a blue hologram of the Safire Drive to pop up "This drive has sensitive information that will help owner cause. So as always I need you two to get it and take down base in what ever way you can."

"Sounds like a plan, Ty." You said touching your belt buckle getting ready to get your suit out

"We'll have to drop you into the water, for the base is under water." Ty said fumbling with the microphone on his headphones

"Well, let's get on with it." Sky said loudly

Ty nodded. You took a couple steps back gripping your locket and dog tags then pressing a button on your belt buckle. Soon your torn jeans and wife beater were replaced with a slim black suit your military boots were replaced with heeled boots (that's my imagination... I guess the suit would be spandex cause it goes over your neck and hands) You did a quick once over on your equipment and smiled. You looked over a Sky seeing he had his black and gold suit on. He pulled his helmet on his head and have you a thumbs up. You pulled your own black helmet on (it matches your black suit).

"Test... Test... 1.. 2...3..." You heard Ty's voice as you adjusted your gauntlets

"Test corporative." You responded

"Same." You heard Sky's voice

"Ok then.. Opticals?" Ty's voice asked

"Check.... Check.... Check... Oh heat sensor!" You giggled at the upgrades that were added

"Sky?" Ty asked as you looked over at Ty

"Check... Check... Check... X Ray?" Sky's voice rang in your ears

"Tyler. How are we on the sensors here?" Ty's voice said a little far off

"All working. Hey, Sky? Why's your heart rate so high?" Tyler asked

"Uummm....." Sky sounded nervous

You turned your head towards him and checked his heart rate with your own sensor. It was raising. You quickly switched to heat sensor. The area around his heart was increasing with heat at the minute. Shaking your head.

"I don't think that matters." You said simply

You heard Sky sigh.

"How's the cams?" Ty asked

"Uummm.... (Y/n) tap the side of your helmet the feed is blurry." You did so "Ok. That's good. All up and runin' Ty!" Tyler said cheerily

(Timeskip)

You did one last check on all of your stuff. You had your helmet off. You sighed as you finished the check. Everything was in its place. You ran a hand through your hair. You guys were almost over the destination. You started to stretch your arms. Sky walked in. You had started to do a side lunge (?). He had his helmet off as well and his cheeks turned a shade of pink.

"So why was your heart rate on the high wire earlier?" You asked standing up straight

"Well... Ummm... (Y/n)... I kinda sorta maybe kinda a lot just.. Ugh!" He grabbed your arms and pulled you into a kiss

Your eyes widened. A light pink dusted your cheeks. You just stood their frozen unsure of what to do. You didn't feel the fireworks like people said you would when you kiss your true love. You were confused on how to react to this. You didn't kiss back just stood there.

"(Y/n)! Come on we need you in the department section! I sent Sky to get you, but he must have gotten lost! Come on!" You hear Tyler's voice come from your helmet

I quickly pulled away from him and grabbed your helmet.

"We- *sigh* we'll talk later Sky." You said walking passed him putting on your helmet

(Timeskip)

Both you of you moved silently through the halls as Ty helped guide you towards where the Sapphire Drive was. Your suits were still some what slick with water.

"Ok let's make this fast, Sky you go rig this place to blow, I'll get the drive." You commanded plus you needed to be away from Sky

You didn't wait for an answer you went down the hall towards the Sapphire Drive. You've made it passed the traps and security cameras. You stood in the room with the Sapphire Drive with what seemed to be an advanced lock. You used a device to decode it. Then a soft pop sound was made meaning the lock was open. Odd. It usually took way longer than this... Odd. You brought out the false drive and with a slide of hand to grabbed the Sapphire Drive and replaced it with the fake one. Suddenly something wrapped around your leg. You fell feeling a burning feeling on your flesh as well as a tightening and your leg. You groaned in agony as a crack rippled through the room. The damn thing broken your leg and was burning through your clothing and burning your flesh.

You quickly found the head of the thing and snapped it off. Tossing it a side you uncoiled the metal from around your leg. You heard voices in your helmet, but they were this disoriented and not understandable. They seemed like they were yelling. Suddenly a loud hiss eerily echoed through the building then a boom.
