~Rylee's P.O.V~

It has roughly been a month since I started school...and Niall left me. I've made a few friends which includes Naomi, Isabella, Ravenna (aka Raven), Will, and Ray. They're all really good friends of mine and they all know the story.

Ray has especially taken a liking to me. Over the course of the month I've slightly gotten over Niall. We didn't break up...but I'm taking his absence as one. Ray shamelessly flirts with me all the time and I find it hilarious.

He isn't a bad looking guy, with shaggy light brown hair, shining hazel eyes, full lips, and his face his extremely handsome. He's like a Greek God. I joined the girl's gymnastic team here with the girls and I enjoy it very much.

I can't believe how much I have actually been missing out on when I was with Niall. I was sitting at lunch with the girls waiting for Will and Ray to get here.

Isabella keeps throwing fries at Ravenna's face, who was not happy about it. Ravenna is the emo of us and always looks angry. But she isn't. Ray and Will showed up, Ray sat across from me and Will sat across from Naomi. I laughed when Ravenna finally reached across the table and slapped Isabella.

"Would you stop throwing those at me?!" she asked.

Isabella giggled. "No." She threw another at her and it hit her square in the forehead.

Ravenna huffed and ignored Isabella. They were dating so they behave like this all the time. The rest of us are single.

Ray stared at me and smiled.

I raised an eyebrow. "Yes?"

"Nothing. Just admiring your face." he replied.

I laughed and ate a fry. "You're funny, Ray."

"I know. But no need for the sarcasm, I'm just telling you the truth." he playfully scowled at me.

Lunch was over before we knew it and we headed our separate ways to our lockers. The hallway was still empty and I was still struggling with my locker. Being here for a month didn't help me learn how to open a locker. I totally forgot how to.

Ray came up next to me and leaned on the locker next to mine. "You look like you could use the help?"

"I could, actually. I hate these things." I stated hitting the metal door.

He lightly pushed me aside and spun my combination in opening the door with ease. I let out a huff and grabbed my gymnastic clothes, which is a tank top and a pair of sweats.

"Thanks, Ray."

"No problem." he said.

I smiled at him and it became awkwardly silent between us as we stared at each other. I rocked back and forth on my feet nervously as his smile turned into a smirk.

"Are you nervous?" he asked stepping towards me.

I subconsciously took a step back and my back made contact with the locker. "N-No."

"You sure?" his smirk grew larger.

He stepped closer to me so the space between our bodies were zero. I could feel the hard muscles of his stomach pressed against mine. I gasped when he placed both hands on either side of my head and his face was inches in front of mine.

"R-Ray...what a-are you d-doing?" I stuttered out.

"You know, Rylee. I've liked you ever since I saw you walking down the hall with Naomi. I don't know why, it's just something about you that intrigues me...and I don't know what. I can't stand not doing anything about it anymore, I have to do something and I think I have an idea of what. Rylee, I know your last boyfriend and you didn't end on good terms and you might still possibly like him. But there's a part of me that hopes you like me back the same way I like you..." he faded off of his sentence and his eyes were trained to mine.
