chapter 3

-Rosie POV-

it's been four days since the Christmas party, and four days since I've seen jerome, we spoke for ages at the party and we got on really well, I don't know why, but when we spoke I was drawn in more and more by every word he said,I can't like him though? I meen, we've only met once?. I doubt he likes me, Maybe I should text him? I grab my white iPhone and text him.

rosie; Hey jerome, it's rosie..from the party :) x

within seconds I got a text back from jerome, it read;

jerome; Hey!, how are you? :) x

rosie; I'm great thanks, you? x

jerome; I'm okay thankyou :), hey rosie...do you want to come to a new years eve party with me and Mitch? x

rosie; sure! I would love to :) x

jerome; okay, I'll pick you up at 8? x

rosie; looking forward to it :) x

oh my god, jerome just asked me to a go with him to a party! ahh I'm so excited!, I can't wait! , what should I wear though? I run to my bedroom and begin planning what I'm wearing.

-Jerome POV-

me and Mitch were playing some minecraft when I got a text from rosie, I read it and said to Mitch "hey Mitch Rosie has just text me!", Mitch laughs and says " get in their biggums! hey jerome, why not ask if she wants to come to the new years eve party? I'm sure she would like it?", "Mitch that's a brilliant idea!" I say and text Rosie and ask her and sure enough she agrees to come! can't wait!

~magical time skip to where jerome is picking Rosie up~

(still jerome POV)

I pull up in rosie's yard and knock on the door, she answers the door and all I can do is stare! she looks beautiful! she is wearing a pretty knee length, green dress which matches her gorgeous eyes and little black heels, I look at her and say in a posh voice "good evening madame, might I say you look lovely tonight!", she giggles and says "and might I say you look well yourself sir", we both laugh and I escort her to the car, we begin our drive to the party when the chorus of people like us by Kelly Clarkson plays from the radio, "I love this song! " Rosie squeals and begins singing,

People like us we've got to stick together,

Keep your head up nothing lasts forever,

Here's to the damned, to the lost and forgotten,

Yea it's hard to get by when your living on the bottom!

she looks at me and giggles "what are thou staring at?" , I smile and say "I didn't know you could sing?'

she smiles and says "I can but I'm just shy" then covers her face with her long fringe. We pull up outside the party venue which is a ski resort in Canada. Rosie looks at me and smiles and we walk in.
