chapter 7

-4 months later-

jeromes pov

its Rosie and mines 5 month anniversary, I'm going to take her out for a picnic under the stars...On the beach!, I also have a surprise for her!, I go into the livingroom in rosies flat and find her editing some videos on the couch, I sneak behind her and tickle her making her jump! "JEROME!" she shrieks before grabbing a pillow off the couch, she looks at me and grins..oh no, I run to the bedroom and hide behind the door, she walks in slowly, trying to spot me I jump out from behind the door scaring her as she falls back on to the bed, she laughs and throws the pillow at me. "so Rosie, seeing as its our 5 month anniversary today, we are going out, be ready for 7.30" I say whilst winking at her, she looks back confused but then agrees. I leeve her to get ready.

-7:30-

jeromes pov

I look at my watch, it's time, I call Rosie and she walks into the living room and I blown away by how stunning she looks!, "you look amazing!" I say, she holds my hand and we get in the car and head to the beach.

When we arrive at the beach we walk across the sand and find a nice spot to lay down our blanket, we sit for a while and talk occasionally trading short kisses, I look at the stars before turning to Rosie and saying " Rosie, ever since I met you I knew I liked you, I remember the night at the fireworks, I wanted to kiss you, and we did, I loved your eyes, your smile and everything about you!, and I just want to say rosie, I love you so much, and I want to keep you happy no matter what", I pull out the promise ring and she puts it on her finger, " rosie greenfield I promise to love you forever and always, do you promise the same for me?", she smiled, tears of joy forming in her eyes, "yes jerome, I do promise" she says as a tear rolls down her cheek, I wiped the tear away before engaging her into a passionate kiss, she kissed back and our lips moved in sync adjusting to eachothers movement, we pulled away and she smiled. we lay back down and gazed at the stars,she layed her head on my chest and whispered...

"I love you Jerome"
