I wanted so hard to not trust him and to run far far away from him, but I can't. It's impossible. It's like we're both magnets, hot glued together.
We've been asking each other questions for a long time, getting to know each other. I soon learned that his favorite color is black, favorite food is sushi, and that he has 1 sister, and a mom and dad.
"What's your favorite type of music?" I asked
"Your moans." he replied with a smirk.
Oh my. That smirk. I looked down and blushed.
"Hey, don't ever look away from me, you are equal to me. Do you understand?" He said while pulling my chin up to meet his eyes. I nod my head yes.
Just as I was about to ask another question, my phone started going off playing Hello by Adele. Wow way to ruin the moment, Adele.
I looked at the caller ID and it said Jess. I was about to answer the call when Xavier grabbed my phone and answered it himself, putting it on speaker phone. Possessive much.
"Hello? Amber is that you? Omg where are you? everyone is looking for you!" Oops. I tried to grab the phone from Xavier to answer her but he pulled it back and answered himself.
"No this is not Amber, It's Alpha Xavier, her mate. And Amber is busy right now. Please call back later, actually wait no, don't."
And with that he hung up.
"Xavier! You can't do that! That was my best friend!"
"Baby, you do NOT tell me what and what not to do. You are mine, and I won't let anyone take you away from me."
"But Xavier-"
"Nope, no buts. This conversation is over."
"You can't tell me what to do! I'm not some possession, and I'm NOT yours." I yelled at his face.
"Oh Kitten, when will you ever learn that you are mine and you will be living with me no matter if you like it or not."
Butthead.
We sat there in silence for a good 5 minutes giving each other the death glare. Xavier finally broke it when he asked if I was tired. I was about to say no when I interrupted was by my yawn. Xavier chuckled that darn handsome chuckle.
"So I guess you are tired." He answered smartly.
"No, no. Really Xavier I'm not." I said followed by another yawn.
All he did was smirk. Catching me by surprise he picked by up bridal style and carried me to his car. Mmh. His car smelled deeply of his scent. I had to bite my tongue to make sure a moan didn't escape my lips.
When we got to my house he picked me up again bridal style but this time I protested.
"Thank you Xavier for being so kind, Goodnight." I said while walking up to my door. He just stood there in disbelief. Then he laughed. He laughed. *Miranda Sings voice* Are you kidding me?!
"Oh baby, you don't actually expect me to let you sleep alone. Nope, I'm staying with you."
Oh. Okay.
"Well then, come on inside." I said awkwardly. I led him inside to our living room.
"Do you way anything to drink?"
"No thanks baby."
I felt tingles in my lower stomach due to the nickname he has going on for me.
"Okay, well then would you like to go to bed?" I asked leading him into my light blue bedroom. Oh my gosh this is so embarrassing. He was staring intently at my room as if memorizing it.
"I like it. It's cute." He said
My smile dropped. Oh beech no. My room is NOT cute. Nope. I'm done.
Xavier must've noticed my change in attitude because he seemed nervous.
"Oh no baby, I didn't mean it that way! I meant your room is cool yanno. Not cute, no not cute because cute is for little girls and your obviously not a little girl because your way to cute to be a little girl, err wait no, not cute sorry. I mean your way to se-"
I cut him off.
"Xavier! Yo buddy, it's cool. Cmon, let's go to bed." I said leading him to my bid fluffy bed. I went into my closet and changed into my bunny pjs. Making sure the door was closed before I changed, so Xavier couldn't see me.
You know Xaviers gonna see a naked soon. My wolf sighed dreamily.
Shut up.
I opened up my closet door to a half naked Xavier.
Oh gosh. He doesn't have a six pack, nope. He has a freakin 10 million hot pack of hunk. Yep that described it.
"Like what you see?" (a/n I know all the werewolves books say this.)
I put my head down blushing.
"No, of course not." I lied jokingly, knowing that he could sense my lie.
"Sure whatever, let's just go to bed." he said as we both went under the covers. I felt his hard abs on my back as he was spooning me. And without any hesitation i let darkness consume me.
