After I finished packing I brought my suitcase downstairs. I didn't see Xavior in sight anywhere so I just sat on the couch waiting for something fun to happen. I felt something vibrate in my pocket and then all the memories came rushing back to me. Oh crap! I haven't called Jess yet, oh no, oh no. She's going to be so mad. I pulled out my phone and it said 14 missed calls and 37 texts messages. Without any hesitation I dialed Jess' number quickly. After 2 rings she picked up and started yelling at me.
"AMBER IVORY WELLS! WHY HAVENT YOU CALLED ME BACK?! I LEFT YOU A MILLION CALLS AND YOU DIDNT ANSWER! YOUR MOM JUST CALLED ME AND TOLD ME YOUR MOVING FROM THE PACK WITH THAT LITTLE DEVIL OF AN ALPHA! ILL BE THERE IN 5 MINUTES! YOU HAVE A LOT OF EXPLAINING TO DO YOUNG LADY!"
Before i could answer, she hung up. I put my phone down with a loud sigh. Right then Xavior came in looking as handsome as ever. I could tell he took a shower and spent an extra few minutes getting ready.
"Hey handsome."
"Hey beautiful. I just got off the phone with my Beta. The car to take us home will be ready in about 10 minutes, and your parents should be here any minute." He said with a smile.
"Great, Im excited. Tell me about your pack."
Just as hew was about to answer, my family and Jess barged in the door.
Jess came running over to me, giving me a huge hug.
"Oh my gosh! Are you okay? Did he hurt you? Has he been holding you hostage? Should I beat him up for yo-" I interrupted Jess.
"Jess chill! He's been amazing and he has the kindest soul ever." I exclaimed to Jess.
I could feel her relax a bit, but I knew she was still tense. I could see her sending death glares to Xavior. I walked over to Xaviors side and gave him a hug so that Jess' wolf, lily would calm down.
I finally turned my attention to my family, who were watching intently.
"Xavior." my dad said to my mate with a small nod of his head.
"Beta Mark." Xavior replied with the same tense seriousness.
Im guessing they met this morning. I heard a car pull up and i saw it was a black, shiny, SUV. That must be the car thats taking me and Xavior home.
"Its time go go." Xavier said allowed to no one in particular. I don't like the serious side of Xavior. But I guess he has to be all serious in front of high authorities. I ran over to my little brother, who has been quiet through all of this. I gave him and everyone else a huge hug and told them I love them. I told everybody that they HAVE to come and visit, especially Jess. After I said goodbye to everyone, Xavior helped me carry out my suitcase to the car. I only brought a little bit of clothes because Xavior said he wanted to treat me out and buy me a lot of clothing. Bonus of having a mate amirite?
As the car drove off I saw my family and Jess waving to me, and getting smaller and smaller. Time for beginnings, I guess.
