Brazil is so bela.....beautiful. We've been here for two in a half years now & I don't wanna go back to the states......couldn't if I wanted too. We live in a gated community so it's just us & the gang. The twins are so, so precious. They're turning two in about two months.....on Christmas Day & I can't wait. They're talking and walking now, it's crazy, but they only speak Portuguese as of now because this is were they were raised.....I gave birth to them here, so it was only right. Eventually, when they get older, I'll start teaching them English. I just wanted them to fit in here as much as possible. We named them Laurel Ana Marie & Nyasia Ava Marie Simmons. Daniel insisted on naming one of them after Ava.

Daniel talks to Ava everyday since we can't go back to the US. She's mad at us because we left her there, but we didn't have a choice & she's not our child. She'll understand when she's older, I hope she'll understand.

"Babe!" Daniel yelled as he came into our home.

"Sim senhor?" {Yes sir?} I answered.

"Papai, papai!" {Daddy, daddy!} The girls yelled, running from out of the family room. He chuckled & picked them up.

"O que é para cima, curto e mais curto?" {What's up, short and shorter?} He rose his eyebrow at them with a smirk on his face. They giggled.

"Which one is short, and which one is shorter?" I asked him. He chuckled. I walked over to him & kissed him.

"We'll find out one of these days..."

"Mhm.." I hummed & walked back to the stove to finish preparing dinner. "Chamando meus bebês curta." {Calling my babies short.} I mumbled. "Of course they're short, Daniel. They're only almost two years old." I heard him laughing behind me.

"Diga a mamãe parar de chorar." {Tell mommy to stop crying.} He told the girls.

"Pare de chorar!" {Stop crying!} They giggled. I playfully rolled my eyes. Daniel put them down & they ran off. He held me from behind & kissed on my neck.

"Have you been staying out of trouble?" I asked him.

"Welllllll...." He dragged out. I sighed.

"Daniel, we talked about this baby!"

"I know, I know.....I just can't help myself.." He sighed, laying his head on my shower. "Whatchu cookin for tonight?"

"Eu estou fazendo Moqueca de Camarão com Pão de Queijo para nós, e Misto Quente para as meninas. Então, nós estamos tendo Pavé para a sobremesa." {I'm making Shrimp Stew with Cheese Bread for us, and a grilled ham and cheese sandwich for the girls. Then we're having a Chocolate Neapolitan for dessert.} I told him.

"Mm.....eu não posso esperar.." {Mm.....I can't wait..} He then scooped me up. I gasped. "But in the meantime..." He turned the stove off & hurried upstairs. I giggled & screamed.

I love Brazil, I love it so much! I'm never leaving. EVER! These past few years have been eventfully. A little after we moved to Brazil I became pregnant again. I had another son and we named him, Octavio Niguel Raoul Jackson. He just turned a year last month & Jasontae is crazy about his baby brother, most of the time he doesn't even want anyone to touch him. He's so over protective like his father. Speaking of his father, Trevor is doing better. He's taking his medications everyday and he goes to therapy.....consider that Nivea is his therapist, that works out for us.

"Mamãe, mamãe!" {Mommy, mommy!} Jasontae yelled as he sat in his high chair.

"Sim, querido?" {Yes sweetheart?} I answered.

"Eu feito." {I done.} I turned around to him holding his little plate out to me. I smiled. "Eu quero mais." {I want more.}

I made him some Coxinhas while I prepared dinner since he didn't wanna take his nap like his brother. It's basically chicken nuggets with cheese in them. They're very good, Jasontae loves them. I just love Brazilian foods.

"DAYAAAA!!" Trevor whined. I turned around to him walking into the kitchen, wearing my robe, some long socks on with his Jordan slippers & a box of Kleenex in his armpit. I laughed. He blew his nose into the piece of Kleenex that was in his hand. "Baby stop, that's not funny." He sat at the island & lead his head on it.

"Oi papai." {Hi daddy.} Jasontae squeaked as I refilled his plate.

"O que é para cima, homenzinho..." {What's up, little man...} He sniffed.

"Go finish your soup from yesterday that you didn't think I'd find in the refrigerator and take your medication." I told him. He groaned.

Trevor has had the flu for the past few days. He must've gotten it from Laurel & Nyasia cause they just had the flu not even two weeks ago. Trevor'll pull through it though. Give it a week & he'll be just fine.
