chapter one; home sweet home
i put my head-phones in and tried to get some sleep. the bus seat is not the most comfortable but i try to manage. i dont know what went wrong at my last foster house.
i dont think it was the water ballons filled with milk that i dropped from the stairs on her cats. yes i said cats. there is five of them. theres no wonder she's single. i dont think she minded that i shaved one either because she didnt say anything. well not in my laungage. i think it was spainish or maybe the was speaking cat! all i know is that she bought me a bus ticket the very next day.it's a new record! out of the house in one week. i dont even think i fully unpacked all my stuff.
now i find my self on a ten hour bus ride back to Cleveland, Ohio and i have six hours to go. i think that kristina got the slowiest bus she could find to send me back in. i dont remember how many time i have been sent back to "miss sowiers orphanage! the cleaniest and safiest orphanage you can find!" or at least thats what the flyers say. i dont really read them i just make paper airplanes and throw them at the mailman every day. i might sound childish but im fifteen. nathan is only four months and twelve days older then me.
he's the only reason i dont stay at foster homes. i could never live with out my best friend. when i was nine he was the only person that welccomed me. even though people made fun of us we where the only ones that dressed up for halloween every year till i was twelve. nathan and i are like oreo cookies. you have to have each cookie to smash the filling. not that nathen and i have some one smashed between us. its just a saying.
i felt some thing tap my shoulder so i take out my head-phones and turn around. a red head with a blue beanie on was staring back at me.
"can i help you?" i muttered
"yes you can. i couldnt help but relize that you bus ticket said cleveland on it. thats where im heading and i wanted to know if they have any good pizza places with in walking distance from the bus stop?" she answer. she sounded like she was from england or was just stuck up and wanted to impress me.
what a noisy little butt. reading my ticket. thats not weird. i have this feeling that i should lie to her.its bad enough that she knows i live in cleveland but now she wants to know some of the teenagers hang outs. she could be a cearel killer or a kidnapper. she was staring at me now. maybe she's planning something. her killing plan or weather she should used rope or a belt to tie me up. or maybe she's wait for me to answer her question.
"look im sorry ma'am but i have no clue where the nearist pizza place is. i dont live in cleveland i'm just getting off there." i said and turned around and tried to get some sleep, again.
when i finally get off the bus i get i a taxi and tell them the adress. i get there in ten minute's and and find my old room. i get dressed in my pajamas and go to sleep. i didnt bother to glance to my left because i was so use to the bed being empty. i cant wait till tomorrow when i get to see nathan, finally.
