She was everything to me. I love her so much, and now she is just a dream that lived in my nightmare. Why would I let her slip into another person's hands? I'm trying to give it up, I'm really trying but it's tough. I gave her a portion of my love but she needed more. Now I am feeing hard. This is how the story goes..

"I just don't see what you like about that girl Bryson! She's a poor silly girl who has no future ahead of her, does she even want to go to college?" My mother asked grabbing my face.

"She does, I don't know ma why don't you just let me make my own decisions for once!" I pushed her hands off of me, and turned my back away from her.

"Bryson you make bad decisions son. Rihanna has way more opportunities then her. Just think about how your life would be if you married some hood girl with no money? You would be somewhere on the streets selling dope when everything you really need is right in front of you."

"I love her ma, what don't you understand about that? Don't you want me to be with a person I love?"

"Im not talking about this anymore Bryson I refuse to let you see her again, she is nothing but trouble who has no future ahead of her."

"And how would you know that? She is a bright girl, and just because her life is a little different from mines—

"A little?"

"Love doesn't have to do with wealth, love is an intense feeling of affection, and that is how I feel about Heaven whenever I see her. I love her, and nothing is going to keep me away from her. I don't care what you say anymore." I told her.

Everyone think my life is great, but really I have never had any exposure to anything. My dad is gone, I don't know where that nigga is, but my mom gets payed big bucks because she is a famous lawyer. She has always been the boss in my life, and I've never struggled for anything I have. EVER.

We live in Lousiville, Kentucky in a big rich neighborhood full of white people. I always knew I have never fit in around here, and always lived up to my mothers standards. But living in this neighborhood is so boring, and I didn't wanna just live this lifestyle. Majority white school, Boring ass neighborhoods, and living off a high standard.. That shit was not what I wanted, but what I was forced. I started going to the other side of town.

Where I met Heaven.

She was hanging with her friends at a house party one of my boys from downtown invited me too. I was just minding my own in the corner admiring the different exposure of people of my own kind, and having freedom.

I didn't even notice I was staring at her until she smirked at me, and of course I tried to play it off by looking away, and she chuckled with her friends.

Some reggae mix came on, and I saw her dancing in her chair to the music, it turned me on. She looked so sexy.

Fuck it. I thought to myself.

I went over to the table, and her friends started looking off.

I tapped Heavens shoulder, and I would never forget this story.

"I seen you looking at me, what's your name beautiful?" I said close to her because the music was kind of loud.

"Heaven, and you?" she asked back with a smile on her face. Her smile was so beautiful.
