"Niall?" I whisper.
He looks up and I gasp. It's him. It's really him. I can't believe it. His bright blue eyes stare at me for awhile. He leaves Lucy and walks towards the counter. I'm not sure whether I should cry or hug him to death. Niall removes his sunglasses and looks at me with wide eyes. He reaches his hand out and touches my cheek. I close my eyes and savor his touch. I feel his hand move off my cheek and hear him gasp. I snap my eyes open and see Niall with tears in his eyes.
"Claire? Claire Skinner? My Claire?" he whispers, shocked.
I nod slowly and stand behind the counter awkwardly. He seems to snap back into reality and puts that killer smile on his face.
"Oh my gosh! Claire, how have you been?" he asked.
"I've been good. How about you?"
"Me? Well, I've been doing great!" he exclaims.
"That's great! So did you wan to order anything?" I said, trying to make things a little less awkward.
"Oh, um, yeah sure. I'll have a mocha frappichino and your number please." he smirks.
I let out a small laugh and nod. Emmie gets started on Niall's order while I put my number in his phone. When I was giving my phone back, our hands touched and I swear I felt sparks. I decided to ignore that. Lucy walks over to us and asks for me to pick her up, so I do. She looks at Niall a little weirdly.
"Hello, love.I'm Niall, what's your name?" Niall asks, tickling her stomach lightly.
"I'm Lucy! I know you! Mommy plays your music and talks about you a lot."
My cheeks grow bright red and I bury my face into Lucy's shirt. I hear Niall gasp quietly.
"Mommy? Claire, she's yours?" he asks me.
I nod and look up at him.
"Yeah. Lucy's mine." I say.
"Who's the father?" he asks, almost like he was jealous? But I have no idea what to answer him. Should I just tell him that Lucy is his daughter or lie? Desicions, desicions.
