Harpers P.O.V (Flashback)

"God I love you" he whispered in my ear as we stared at the sky.
I smiled and leaned up to kiss him.

"Cause when you smile, the whole world stops and stares for a while" he sang softly.
"Cause girl your amazing, just the way you are."

I loved him so much, there was never a day I wouldn't.

Harpers P.O.V (after flashback)

I sat staring out the window of my parents classic black limousine.
The rain was slightly drizzling down the windows.

I felt the warm tears drip down my face, I quickly wiped them away.
I stared at the sight I saw.

Nathan was sitting in a cafe, a tall leggy brunette draped across his lap. He was running his hands through her hair like he used to do with mine.
I couldn't take it I got out of the car feeling the cold droplets hit my bare skin.

Screw this tight black dress and red heels. I stormed inside the cafe getting frightened looks from people.
I spotted the two in front of the window.

"How could you " I growled at Nathan.

He stared at me,dumb struck his hands dropped to his lap as he realized the old habit.

The brunette stared at me will jealously as she looked me up and down, only to scoff at my ruined makeup.

"Harper what are you talking about?" He asked annoyed.

"How could you promise me things you couldn't keep!" I yelled.

The brunette slowly got up, grabbed her purse and fled out Into the rain.

"Harper stop your making a scene" he whispered getting up.

"I hate you" I spat. "But I love you so much it god damn fucking hurts."

"I don't love you" he said rather harshly.
"Harper everything that happened between us is just a memory."

I couldn't take it I exploded.
I brought my hand up and smacked him so hard across the face he stumbled back. My hand burning from the touch.

"You bitch" he hissed clutching his cheek.

"That was your doing" I then spun in my heels and stormed out.

I broke down, all the pain, all the feelings I had ever pushed aside had some how washed over me like a wave.

I was alone in this world.
No one cared.

"Harper?" I quickly wiped the tears and straightened as I heard the voice.

I turned around Alec was standing on the sidewalk getting drenched by the rain.

"Alec" I breathed out choking on the tears.

He didn't have to say anything he looked at me and I ran into his arms. He held me against his chest as I sobbed, letting all the pain go.
