A/N: So I came up with this last night. It was a sleepless really long night, so I got many Ideas. I just gotta learn to write it down.

After all Patrick Jane will always be a broken man. If nobody was watching, his smile would fade and his eyes would darken. He would always say he had moved on, but in reality he would lie awake in bed every night thinking of his wife and child, red john had taken away so cruelly. Sometimes he would quietly be sharing memories of the small Charlotte to his few months old son, Lisbon had given to him so gratefully. He some days would find himself crying, without knowing when he had started to.
Wherever the future would take him, his love to Teresa and their newborn son would rise, although the feeling of guilt related to his past would never completely leave him.
After all, Patrick Jane was a broken man, with wounds , that were never meant to be fully healed.
