Dark Timelines

Chapter 3

Pain, That's all she could feel. No longer could she feel the joy or excitement that, at one point, was her trademark. For six months this girl was locked in this room. This dark, cold, and lonely room was the only thing that filled her mind. Where there was once memories of happy times with her four other friends, there was now a barren wasteland of a place, Dark and unfeeling.

While the girl slept she dreamt of nothing, and when she woke up she stared at the walls blankly, repeatedly muttering the same words over, and over again into the long forgotten room.

"nothing...I am nothing..."

Its not like she couldn't leave the confines of this hell, quite the contrary actually, she could leave anytime she wanted to. But, when you're barely a shell of a human? You get lost in the endless void of your subconscious. Eventually you become so far gone that you have a realization, you...can kill. You have the power to find anyone... You could simply end their life, just like they ended yours...

You would stand up shakily and walk out of the mansion. What will you do? Will you choose to try and defeat the void? Try to push it back? Of course you won't, you don't have a choice here, do you know why? Tell me, why can't you? Because,

"I am nothing."

I decided to take a break from my break and publish a sort of...mini update if you will. I'm sorry its bad, and that it probably makes little to no sense in the context of Dark Timelines. Buuttt I figured I'd write something. I'm probably gonna continue my hiatus though, just until I get more people to help me come up with ideas for this story. As its my pride and joy (on wattpad at least) I don't want to quit this story. I just need time, I'm still in school and have to improve my writing by doing well in class, and to do that I need to study which leaves me little to no time to write for myself. So I'll try to write a lot more in summer. And I gotta go before this note it longer than the story.
