We were half way through our journey when Elie, Maddy and Josh started arguing about what restaurant to go eat lunch at. Elie chose Mc Donald's, Maddy wanted Burger King, Josh wanted KFC and Matt and I, well we were just hungry to the point we didn't care. Josh gave up after some time but that still left Maddy and Elie.
"We went to Burger King last time!" Elie whined.
"Hey Elie.." Maddy started. "Remember when I asked for you opinion?" Elie had a confused look. "Yeah, me neither" said Maddy with a satisfied grin on her face.
"Burger king it is" Elie mumbled in an annoyed and defeated tone.
When we arrived at burger king, we all went to stand in line to order .. except Josh. He stood in awe of the empty burger king playground..
"Oh. My. Gosh. Can someone come in the playground with me?
"Josh don't be an idiot.. Of course I'll come in the playground with you!" Matt said excitedly.
Matt quickly told me his order and ran off with Josh. I turned to Elie and Maddy and asked what they wanted. After getting our food, we headed to a small booth in the back of the room and sat down. Due to the fact that Maddy and Elie despise each other I had to sit in the middle.
"Elie, would you mind getting the guys in the playroom and tell them that we have the food?" I asked politely.
"Why do I have to do it?" Elie asked.
"Cause no one likes you" Maddy said.
"Maddy be nice!" I whispered to her.
Elie got the message and got up to deliver the message to the guys. Maddy waited till Elie was out of earshot, then exclaimed "Thank god she's finally gone!"
"Not for long." I say giggling as Elie and the boys approach our table.
"Mmm this looks so good!" Exclaims Josh before stuffing his mouth with food.
"I'm so excited to arrive at the beach house. Its going to be so much fun!" Squeals Elie.
"I'd be excited too if you had stayed home." replies Maddy giving Elie a glare. Elie squints her eyes trying to glare at Maddy but ends up looking like a constipated seal.
"Stop doing that you look like a constipated seal." says Maddy.
"Why do you always insult me!" Exclaims Elie in frustration.
"I'm not insulting you, i'm just discribing you."
I try to cover my laughter but fail and soon we're all laughing except Elie who just looks down and starts eating.
Once we were done, we hopped back into the car and continued our adventure towards Florida.
