(Y/n) was at Alphys's home/lab at the moment, trying to calm down a panicking Alphys.
"Alphys it will be alright, I'll stay here all night to help you, longer if you'd like."
(Y/n) said as he/she smiled as the female in front of them. Alphys nodded shyly and replied.
"N-N-No! If y-y-you h-have to g-go y-y-you will have t-t-to go! B-But if y-y-you will s-stay y-you c-c-can't stay up a-all night!! Y-Y-You neee your s-sleep!"
Alphys shook her hands rapidly, looking over papers and documents.

~~Earlier~~
(Y/n) was walking down Hotland and into Alphy's lab.
"Alphys! I'm hear! What was the emergency?"
(Y/n) asked and he/she took of their coat and hung it up, walking towards the main area of the room and towards a shaking Alphys.
"T-They wanna k-k-know when the s-subjects a-a-are going home..."
(Y/n)'s eyes widen as her words. (Y/n) was one of the royal helpers, in other words he/she was sent out to help Asgore's gaurds and scientist. (Y/n) made sure everything went well, Undyne and him/her would switch turns and take care of each group of gaurds at times. Now (Y/n) was called by Alphys to help her with a failed experement.
"T-T-They're all fused, mushed t-together! T-Their families w-want to see them....I-i-I can't let them see t-them!!"
"Alphy calm down"
Said a worried (Y/n).
~~now~~

Alphys continued to shake uncontrollably as her claws could be heard againd her wood table. (Y/n) sighed and walked behind Alphys, giving her a big hug.
"Alphys calm down you worry wart. We'll figure this out together and until then I said I'll stay all night and help you scan through their data and documents alright?"
Alphys took a shaky breath and nodded, slightly calming down.
"A-A-Alright"
(Y/n) smiled and took hold of a handfull of papers, quickly scanning through them.
"Now shall we get to work?"
Alphys nodded and helped scan the papers.

After a long night (Y/n) and Alphys had layed down to sleep, (Y/n) staring at the ceiling.
"She worries too much.."
Murmered (Y/n) as they looked at a sleeping Alphys, giggling/chuckling lightly. They moved closer towards Alphys and wrapped their arms around Alphys. Alphys snored softly and moved into (Y/n), so which (Y/n) just smiled. Soon they where both asleep together, soon waking up to a blushing mess and then getting back to work. Alphys seemed to relax more, a light pink dusting her cheeks and she spoke quickly about the possibilities for the subjects.
(Y/n) listened to her every word, adding a few comments here and there, in no time the two where working as if they new eachother for years. They soon finished their work, a new way of seeing souls made. The two sat down and started watching anime, (Y/n) smiling at every time Alphys would get cheery and jump in excitment and them blush and sit back down. (Y/n) and Alphys became closer, later on (Y/n) asking Alphys to date her/him to which Alphys very sheepishly nodded a yes.
