Your eyes flickered open to a bright light. A groan came from your mouth as you lifted your muscular body up off a patch of yellow buttercups. Gazing to your right, you looked at your best friend, Sienna. Her ankle was twisted in a strange position and her brown fur covered in blood. Cringing, you walked over to her and looked at her, worried.
"Sienna?" You whined, gently nudging her shoulder with a paw. You stiffened as a voice... no... two voices drifted through the air.
"Sans! They're puppies!" The higher pitched one asked the other.
"Shhh. One of them is awake." A deeper tone cut the first one off.
"Sienna! We need to go!" You demanded a little louder, pawing your friends shoulder. Suddenly, you jumped back as a two skeletons approached you. One was at least 6'0 ft and wore a battle suit with a bright red scarf. The other was a short skeleton (probably around 5'2) and wore a pair of sport shorts and a white turtle-neck with a blue hoodie over the top. You were a large, black pelted wolf with menacing blue eyes (by large, I mean you were at least 4'10 at the tip of your ears). Sienna was a smaller brown wolf around the size of 3'5. You two were animal morphers (You can change into all different types of animals but your soul is still human). Letting out growl, you hurried over to Sienna and stood in front of her and bared your teeth.
"Hey pup, settle down. You look like you've seen the dead rise." The shorter one teased, who you assumed was Sans.
You snapped back, still growling viciously.
"WOLF, DO NOT FEAR. FOR I, THE GREEEAAAT PAPYRUS, WILL NOT HARM YOU." You cringed at his volume. He was loud, even louder than Sienna. "I MERELY WANT TO HELP. YOUR COMPANION'S ANKLE IS RATHER... RED..." Frowning, you moved over for the tall skeleton. You watched him sternly as he picked up Sienna gently. You suddenly snarled as Sans moved closer to you.
"Hey pup. " Maddison... You thought. Your name was Maddison dammit. He pulled his right hand out of his pocket and extending it out to you and scratching behind your ear. Still frowning, you let the skeleton keep petting you. "Hehehe, always works. Trust me pup, I ain't a threat." Sans told you gently, as if he knew you could understand him. Did he? Nah, you guessed he just liked talking to animals. "Anyway," he said, letting you go," We better go take you to Tori before you friend bleeds to death." You four began to walk towards the only exit from the place. You trotted next to Papyrus, keeping a close eye on your friend. You all walked for a little while. The four of you encountered a couple Froggits on the way.
"Aww, hello cutie," You barked in wolf language, clicking on your act button and bending down to the small monster's hight, "You look nice!" Seeing the Froggit blush (even though he couldn't understand you), you smiled and spared the monster, waving to them as they ran away. Tail raised high with pleasure, you turned around to see Sans right behind you. He seemed a little less tense, maybe he was becoming more trusting of you? You all continued walking. There were a few puzzles which Papyrus seemed to get you all through quickly. He was amazing at them! The skeleton must have some experience with puzzles... After a little while you four finally reached a pretty little house.
"Here pup," Sans said, bending down and tying you to a dead tree with a piece of spare rope, "Stay here, I'll take your friend inside." Watching the skeletons walk off with your friend, you growled and barked viciously. "
"DO NOT WORRY PUPPY, I AM ONLY TAKING YOU FRIEND TO BE HEALED BY OUR FRIEND. THEY WILL BE BACK SOON." Trusting Papyrus, you sat down and watched them walk off and into the house.
