Serah's POV
~I moved my left shoulder, and I felt a piercing pain which made me gasp, I opened my eyes slowly, I looked at the ceiling blankly, suddenly I came to realize that I was not in my room nor the hospital! I quickly got up, but I felt a huge pain on my back, it made me cry in pain and I fell on the floor, I heard someone opened the door... "Serah!!! What happened!?"
"D... David??" I felt safe when I heard his voice, It's like all the scary thoughts that was in my head disappeared, WAIT!!! NO! I... I CANT! But after what I said to him earlier... I can't take those words back... I'll just go with the flow "D... David, I... where am I?" I saw a relief on David's face, was he really that worried...?
"You're in a safe place, so don't worry... for the meantime you'll stay here, the government is looking for us, so it's better for you to just stay here until everything is resolved" David gave me a quick smile and helped me got up, the government is looking for us... so that means, I'm not their target... they're targeting... David! Maybe the government has already found out David's Identity! "Hey, Serah, look at the window" Haa? I turned my head around, I saw the sky, it was dark, so it's probably night time "You've been asleep for 2 days, I thought you were never gonna wake up... You're probably hungry, I'm gonna go get you some food" Me...! I've been out for two days!
"W... wait! I can walk, so you don't have to do that... besides, I want to go out, I've been in here for 2 days, right?" David nodded in response and helped me walk, when we got out of the room, I saw a huge hallway, with portraits hanging on the wall "Woah! are we in a castle!?" I've assumed that we're in a castle, cause the background and everything is classy and old "Yup, you stand corrected, you're in my kingdom" I stopped walking, and I looked at David's face with a shock "Y... you're kingdom!!" I accidentaly shouted, cause I didn't expected, what he meant safe place was his KINGDOM!!! If I heard him correct... then... this place is filled with VAMPIRES!!! OH GOD, I'VE HAD ENOUGH!! "Aaahh, the beautiful young lady has already woke up" I saw a woman with long black hair, walking towards us, she looks like an angel, her deep red eyes suited her pale white skin's glow "Serah, my dear, how are you feeling?" I was staring at her for a minute, then I realized that she asked me a question! "Oh... I... I'm alright, thank you for everything... Miss"
"Oh, no, don't call me miss, you're my son's lover, so you must call me mother, do you understand dear?" Mother... Oh I see, she's the Queen! "Ah! yes mother" I bowed a little cause I can't seem to move my back that well, because of the pain "Look at you, oh you must be starving? I'll take care of her David, come with me dear" I nodded, I looked back at David, and he gave me a comforting smile. As we we're walking, I saw the maids and the servants, bowing everytime the Queen passes them, we finally reached the dining room, I saw a long table with many chairs, the Queen sat down "Come sit next to me dear, what would you like to eat?" I sat down, and looked at her "I'll have anything available, and thank you m... mother" She laughed a little, when she heard me say mother "Don't worry dear, you'll get used to it" She smiled at me
