I caught up with Maya after school.
"Hey Maya. Can I come over today?" I asked.
"Actually I was going to stay over at your house today." She said.
"But you have for a week. We alternate,remember?" I said.
"Riley. Please. Just let me stay." Maya pleaded.
I looked at her eyes and saw that she was hurting inside. I'll find out.
I nodded.
And with that, we drove home.
