Fever

Finn's POV

I woke up in my new home next to Melinda. I don't know what my feelings are. After all these years Melinda changed she's sort of nice but still I can't and I don't see a future with her. I kissed Rachel I will admit it was kind of a desperate move. Damn she's right highschool in repeat. Did she really move here to get away from Melinda?

I got up and walked to my kitchen I could see a view of Rachel's living room. Maybe I'll be able to see the girls. WAIT Finn that's creepy! Eva and Marley Berry..Eva and Marley Hudson. I love Rachel at least I think I do but one thing for sure is I love those girls I did think of them everyday. 

I was getting water from the sink when I saw Rachel walk in the living room I looked down so it wouldn't look weird.

Rachel's POV

This morning I woke up and I immeditely felt awful. I'm sick. I have a fever and I've been throwing up and I just feel gross. I kind of feel grateful because then maybe I can skip the reunion with Melinda and Finn. I decided to text Brittany and Santana.

Me- Hey, I know it's kind of late notice but could you come over today I'm sick and I was wondering if you could stay home with me and help with the girls. I've also have some gossip about myself.

Brittany- Oh gossip on our way. Sorry your not feeling well B but nurse Britt and San are on the way.

Brittany changed she's not as how do I put this nicely..she's not as immature she's grown up just like I have but when someone from the past shows up aka your children's father old habits come into place.

I walked into my living room to put my blankets down I guess I'll be out here for a while. I then walked upstairs although I'm sick gotta make myself presentable. I put my hair in two dutch braids coming down to my stomache, since my hair has grown. I then put light makeup on and finished it off with Burt's B's chapstick.

I got dressed into grey joggers with pocket and put on a grey crop top not super short but only shows a little skin. I then walked into Eva's room to wake her up.

Me- Eva?

Me- Eva. I than began to shake her. Nothing god this child is just like her father. I tickled her and she bursted out laughing.

Eva- Mama why? She groaned.

Me- Because it's 10 in the morning. I smiled.

Eva than jumped in my arms and I carried her to Marley's room.

Me- Marley? I whispered.

Eva- Marley wake up! She yelled.

Marley sprung up and screamed.

Marley- Eva! 

Me- Girls shh.

Both- Sorry.

We all than began laughing and walked downstairs.

Marley- Mommy you look amazing! She said making big hand gestures.

Me- Well thank you baby but I feel awful.

Eva- Why mama?

Me- I have a fever so Santana and Brittany are coming over.

Both- Yay!.

Me- But first you girls gotta eat.

I got out some greek yogurt and some fruit and I also took out some granola as much as the girls hate to admit it they love fruit.

After we all ate Santana and Brittany walked in.

Santana- B your stuck with us all day and we're stuck with you so we brought some fun stuff to cheer you up. She yelled. What's up with everyone yelling this morning.

I walked up to the front door were they were putting the 3 bags down.

Santana eyed me up and screamed.

Santana- Abs since when?!

Me- Since a couple months remember how I kept going to that and I quote "dumb gym when we can be fat asses and eat our feeling" I said not worrying about the girls hearing because Brittany had taken them out front to play.

She laughed and we hugged.

Santana- So what's the gossip?

Me- Next door neighboor+ kids= Finn Hudson

Her mouth dropped.

She than ran to my living room and looked out I followed her and we saw Finn and Melinda in a really really touchy position.

We began laughing so hard totally forgetting the window was creaked open.. they looked at us.

Santana and I turned red and had a fake smiles on our faces. Melinda walked over to her kitchen window and opened it wide. Santana walked up to my window and opened it as well.

Melinda- Rachel? Santana?

Santana- Well hello Melinda. She said holding her laugh in.

Me- Hey Melinda. I than felt really dizzy so I leaned on Santana.

She caught me.

Melinda- Look I know we have a past but we should catch up you, Santana, me and my lovely husband Finn. She said forcefully grabbing his wrist.

Santana- Yeah but don't forget Rachel's kids. She said as the girls ran into the house with us and looked out the window to Melinda and Finn. God could this get any weirder.

Eva- Mama we wanna go to Sky Zone! She said jumping into my arms. 

Marley- Yeah! Please mommy! She said as she jumped into my arms as well. See my kids jump a lot so I've learned to be prepared. I was able to catch Marley so I was carrying my precious 6 year-olds.

Santana- Melinda we're busy bye. She than closed the window and the blinds..

I put the girls down.

Me- Maybe tomorrow girls I just don't feel all that well to do anything.

Eva- We get it mama.

Marley- I guess.. But we have aunt Sannie and aunt Britt.

3 hours later.

My tempreture has gone up god I've gotten sick before was it this bad.?

I think Santana and Brittany took the girls for lunch.

Finn's POV

It's been a couple hours since that incident aka the kitchen/living room fiasco. Melinda went out to get grocery's but I don't think we need any. Anyway I'm gonna go over to Rachel's and talk.

I knocked on the door no anwser so I knocked again I then just opened the door and it opened up easily. I walked to her living room and saw her laying down wrapped in a blanket.

I put my hand on her forehead she was burning up.
She was starting to wake up but not quite yet. I got lost in her huge house but I got to the kitchen got a rag and put lukewarm water on it and walked back.

I put the rag on her forehead.

Rachel- Finn?  She asked sort of groggily trying to get up.

Me- Nope Rach you lay down and rest.

Rachel- What What are you doing here?  She asked softly.

Me- I wanted to talk but we can another time.

Rachel- Finn?

Me- Yes Rachel?  I smiled at her.

Rachel- Me and Santana we we didn't mean to interuppt.  She said closing her eyes again.

Me- It's fine Rach it's fine. 
She slowly fell back asleep and I kissed her hand and whispered 'I Love You' she didn't hear me but at least I said it one last time.
