Saved by An 18 Year Old Girl

It was a fine weather in the city. Most of the kids went to the park to play after their school. They were having fun playing and enjoying their lives.

There was an eight year old girl who was shy. Then a kid came to her. "Hey Sally, come play with us." She said as she grabbed her hand to the group of kids. "So what shall we play?" The kid asked. "Hmmm...how about tag!" The other kid suggested. All the kids agreed. "Tag!You're it!" The boy said as he poked Sally by the shoulder and everyone ran. She giggled and started to chase them.

Then suddenly, she bumped a teenager and her shake spilled on her shirt. That girl despised kids. The teenage girl gasped and looked at Sally with an angry look. "S-sorry..." She muttered, the teenage girl scoffed. "Sorry is not an excuse for ruining my favorite shirt!" She exclaimed. "You should be punished for ruining my favorite shirt!" She shouted as she raised her hand for a slap. Sally closed her emerald green eyes to get ready for the impact but nothing happened.

She opened her eyes and saw another teenager who has the same age with slut. "Don't you dare hurt her, Maddie." The other teenage girl said sternly. Sally gets a good look of the girl who saved her. She has long black hair and stunning ocean blue eyes. "Eww, get away you freak!" Maddie said as she gets her hand off her. "You shouldn't slap a child, and you should know that." The black haired girl said. Maddie then scoffed. "That brat ruined my favorite shirt, this is from Germany." She growled as she pointed at Sally and Sally flinched. "So what? It's just an accident." She said. "Why bother, Rina? You care too much and yet, no body cares about you." Then her friends laugh with Maddie. Rina glared at her. "And you think everyone cares about you? You're being delusional." Maddie gasped and she was about to slap Rina but then Rina spoke up, "You know I can destroy your pretty face right?" She said as she crossed her arms confidently. All Rina's life, she was alone and had to learn self - defense to protect herself from the harshness of the world.

Maddie scoffed again. "This isn't over." She hissed as she glared at Rina with daggers. "Girls, let's go." She said then they left.

Then Rina looked at the girl and knelt down to her size. "Are you okay little one?" Rina asked with a concern look. Sally was speechless so she nodded. "Good, don't mind those people they just cared about themselves only. I'm Rina by the way and you are?" She asked. "I..I'm Sally." She stuttered. "You're strong and also pretty." She said as she looked down. Rina giggled and patted her brunette hair. "Thank you Sally." She said with a smile.

"Sally!" A male voice heard from behind Rina. Sally looked up and she smiled. "Daddy!" She exclaimed as she ran to his arms. "How are you child?" He asked. "It was fine and oh!" She then ran back to Rina and dragged her towards him.

"Rina saved me from the meanies." She said as she tugged on her sleeve. "Well ,thank you for saving her." He said. Then Rina looked up at him and take a good look at the man. His hair was white as snow, his eyes are red as blood and he was quite tall too.

The man takes a good look on Rina too. They both kept staring each other while Sally looked at both of them then he broke the silence. He cleared his throat then he extended his hand out. "I'm Richard Crossgrove." He said with a smile. Rina blushed a little then she grabbed his hand and shook it. "I'm Rina Jaquelyn Sapphire." She said as she smiled back then she let go of his hand.

"We have to get home now." He said. "Say good bye to Rina now child." He said.

"Bye." She said as she hugged her leg. Rina smiled and patted her head. " Bye." She said. Sally then let go of her and grabbed Richard's hand. "Good bye Ms. Sapphire." He said then they walked out of the park. Rina sighed and walked home.
