Why I Love One Direction

Wattpad Happened

So freshman year came and I was now in 9th grade in Olympian High School. I wasn't that big of a fan of 1D yet. I just liked their song, "More Than This". It was a really nice song that I could relate to, so I kept listening to it.

Soon, my little brother was obsessed with this app called Wattpad, and he was on it nonstop. I finally spoke up and asked him what it was. He told me that it is this really cool app where you can read stories made from other people, and that I can make my own stories too. Of course I was interested because I heard that I could make my own stories. I downloaded the app and found a whole crapload of One Direction fanfiction.

I came across one fanfic called, "Friendzoning Harry Styles" by KrystalPayne. Because it was summer, I stayed up all night reading it. That's when I fell for Harry Styles. Because of the imagination I had, I dreamed that I was dating the handsome Harry Styles. I fell for him, all Because of fanfiction. Thank you, Krystal Payne!

That's when my fandom began again. It wasn't fully there yet, though.

Soon, I was introduced to another fanfiction about Niall Horan named, "With Your Love," by Heyitshusna. That's what got me falling for Niall Horan. I further did my research on the boys and found that Niall and I shared a common love for food, and treating people right. Plus, we both randomly say "POTATO!" LOL.

I watched his audition video for the x-factor and fell in love with his voice. I ended up watching the whole season on YouTube, and crying when they got knocked off. Niall was so sensitive, and he was a belieber ♥. I couldn't believe that I found a boy who was a belieber. That's AMAZING.

That's when I was growing more into the fandom. Because of Wattpad.
