He couldn't take this anymore. Everyone telling him how well he played, how talented he was. They were all liars. He knew why they were doing it. They felt sorry for him. Everyone felt sorry for him. Why? Because he was a loser, an ugly, worthless, unwanted loser.
These thoughts raged in his head as he reached the bathroom door. He went in and opened the cabinet reaching for a razor blade. As he struggled with the cover on the blade, he tried thinking of anyone who would miss him. His mind immediately went to Dean.
"Would he miss me?", Cas thought. "Would he notice that I'm gone?"
Why did he even bother asking himself these questions? He knew the answer already. Dean wouldn't miss him. Why would he? Cas was nothing but a nuisance.
Finally, the cover came off. He cut straight and deep on both arms. His blood came slowly but sped up rapidly as the seconds went by. As Cas fell to the floor, his mind went back to Dean. Dean, with eyes that rivaled the beauty of emeralds, and a smile that could light up a room. Dean, who smelled of home, and happy things to come. Dean, who Cas knew would never return his love.
Vision blurring and consciousness fading away, Cas heard something. It almost sounded like someone calling his name. Someone who suspiciously sounded like Dean.
