My father stands in the middle of the ship yelling and asking me what happened. I'm still shocked with everything. I don't say anything. He comes towards me and holds me by my shoulders.
"What is going on with you?" My father asks.
No words come out. There's only silence. All I see is my father's grey eyes looking at mine, waiting for an answer. But my mouth is not reacting.
"I'm sorry... I didn't mean to cause any harm..." I say to my father.
"You never listen to us! Your brother always listens." Says my father ignoring what I said before.
"You think I did it on purpose?" I ask almost crying.
"You're not even answering when I talk to you!" Exclaims the captain.
"Stop..." I say as tears start running down my checks.
"Just try to-" My father says as I cut him off.
"Shut Up!" I scream while I cover my ears and close my eyes.I wait a few seconds. I can't hear anything else. I open my eyes and find myself alone. I'm not on the ship anymore, I'm in the palace. A hand touches my shoulder. I turn to see Prince Matthew standing in front of me with a great smile. How did I get here? Why am I here?
"You're staying this time, right?" Asks the Prince.
"How did I get here?" I answer whit a question.
"You helped us capture the thieves!" He says, his expression full of joy.I let go of him knowing what he means. They captured my family. I helped them. But, how?
"What do you mean I helped?" I ask, trying to make him explain the situation.
"You told us where they were." Explains Matthew.
"That's impossible, they're my family. I would never do such a thing." I say confused.
"Well you did, just to stay here with me." He says caressing my cheek.I immediately take a step back. What have I done? My eyes open widely as I look for an exit. I want to get out of here as soon as possible. Only one door is open. The Prince follows me while I run. I feel it again, the guilt goes around my chest. I did this to my family. They were taken away because of me. This is all my fault. My father was right, this is ALL MY FAULT.
I pass the door only to notice that I was lead to a balcony. This can't be happening to me, but I think this is the way that I'm getting paid for betraying my family.I turn to get out, just to find Matthew closing the doors and smirking at me. What's wrong with him? He doesn't look like... him. He gets closer and the only thing I can think of is walk backwards. My back hits the handles of the edge of the balcony. He caresses my cheek with his left hand and rests his right hand on my hips. I can help but feel weak and uncomfortable. His lips touch mine and just the feeling makes me melt, but I can't, this is wrong. We're not meant to be. Nothing can happen. His lips are now on my neck. I don't like this feeling.
I push him in attempt to break free from his grasp, but it's useless. His right hand is now on my thigh. This can't go on. I move my leg up and it hits his stomach. He goes back a few steps and I attempt to go to the door, but when I get there I realize it's locked. I run back to the edge and decide that my only escape is to jump. I get over the handles and grab them as I prepare myself to jump. I prepare myself for my possible death.
"Don't do it!" Matthew yells.
"I don't have any other choice..." I say as I get ready to jump.Just when I'm about to jump, I see his face once again. Pure madness is written al over his face. He grabs me by my hips and I feel my breathing get uneven.
"Sorry sweetly, but we can't have any other lost place on our hands." Matthew says with a dark voice.
"Just let me go!" I beg as I push him lightly.
"Well... If that's what you want..." Prince Matthew says.I feel his hand pushing my hips and my world is going on slow-motion. I see myself in the middle of death. I see how my life is ending. I close my eyes as I hit the ground with the words 'My Fault' still running loose in my head.
