**Camila's POV**
After the police got ahold of Stephen's laptop they sent him away for a very long time and we decided it was time for a vacation on the weekend. Since we live in my birth place (Miami) we are going to visit Dinah's which is California. We are going to visit some of Dinah's family that she hasn't seen in a while but that is a surprise.
I packed my stuff for the weekend when my phone buzzed and it was Dinah
D: hey babe ya ready?
C: yes I'll be there soon
I got my stuff together and headed to Dinah's house. She put her stuff into the back seat and hopped in. We road to the airport making snap chat videos. We slept the whole flight basically
**After Flight In Car**
We drove to our hotel that we are staying in and we decided to take a swim. It's around 1 o'clock now so about an hour later. I ran to the bathroom to call Dinah's aunt. We are going to meet at Red Robins and Dinah's whole family will be there.
Dinah and I took our showers and got dressed. I told Dinah I was taking her out to eat. She wore a black dress with some black heels while I wore a nude dress with gold heels.
When we arrived at the restaurant Dinah's family was already there and I announced to Dinah that I had a surprise for her and handed her a blindfold. I sat her down in the chair between her cousins North and Ragae and took off her blindfold. We all screamed surprise. And Dinah was in tears with her hand over her mouth. Do you like your surprise? I asked nervous and she just took me in for a kiss and I knew she liked it. We all ordered our food and sat around and talked.
Once everyone was ready to go and they started filing out of the restaurant I told Dinah that I was going to pull the car upfront. When I came back to get Dinah she was talking to her grandma and Dinah was crying what looks like tears of joy while her grandmother was wiping her tears away. I walked up to see what all the fuss was about and her grandmother hugged me and told me to take care of her granddaughter. I promise I will, I replied.
On the way home Dinah asked me to stop by our community park and I agreed. I opened her door for her and she lead me to one of the park benches. I sat down and she remained standing. I began to get worried until she pulled out a ring. Tears instantly fell down my face and she started talking. "Camila this is not a engagement ring... yet. But it's a promise ring. My grandmother got it from my grandpa before he died and they are passing it from generation to generation and she told me to give it to you. Camila, I'm not giving you this because she told me to I'm giving it to you because I truly love you and would me nowhere without you. With this ring I promise to love you and never leave you even when times get rough. No matter what people have to say about us .. Through anything .. Forever" Dinah said.
I couldn't find any words so she wiped my tears away and I took her in for a hug. I love you I managed to say. "Will you take this ring?" She asked. I shook my head yes really fast and let my happy tears flow.
A/N: I've been meaning to update but I haven't find much time. I hate school so much. I just had my spring break but I've been traveling nonstop. But im going to try to keep more coming. Sorry for mistakes this story has been on and off. Vote and comment please!
