No, no Colin mumbled over and over in his sleep. He woke up in a cold sweat, he stared at the ceiling and it took him a moment to realize where he was.  He slowly recalled it was night three in his new home. He sighed the dream was so real he was being chased but couldn't make out the face of who was chasing him. It was a man that much he was sure of and the other thing was that the man was shooting a gun, but Colin was not clear if it was at him or at someone else. He woke when he felt as if he was falling and attempted to grab onto something to slow the fall. Glancing down at his hands, he saw his knuckles were white from clutching the thick royal blue duvet. Wow, he thought that seemed so real. He rarely remembered his dreams, but this was so vivid.

He glanced around the room that he'd fallen in love with the moment he'd walked into the vast space. He lay in a king size mahogany sleigh bed with a mattress that caused him to relax without hesitation. The furniture matched the bed, all large over-sized pieces that spoke of the wealth it resided within. His room was complete with sitting area that held a full entertainment system. His first moment alone in the room he'd walked over and took a seat on the plush royal blue sofa and grabbed the remote off the coffee table. He'd turned on the 50-inch television and relaxed while he flipped aimlessly through the channels he was truly in love with the room and didn't want to ever leave. He could only think if his room looked like this, what was Jared's room like?  It was probably a palace, he could have only guessed.

His first day here Jared had taken him on the grand tour. They'd left the kitchen and went into the garage and Jared showed him where he could park his car instead of leaving it to the elements in the front drive and handed him a door remote. The garage was large enough to hold 8 cars, but only Jared's and his mom's sat in parking spaces. At the end of the outline parking spots was a small alcove and in there sat two sparkling motorcycles one was a Harley-Davidson Road King Classic in a beautiful baby blue paint, Jared had explained that it had belonged to his father. The other, was a Ducati Multistrada 1200 in cherry red in a word he was in awe. Jared had offered him a ride, but he'd quickly explained he didn't know how to ride and that he only admired motorcycles. Jared's simply response had floored him, we'll get you lessons then you can ride with me.

Leaving out the back entrance of the garage Colin was led to a garden with concrete benches and replicas of famous statues, one he recognized right away as Adonis. The garden's path spilled out to the pool area but it just wasn't any pool, it was infinity pool that seemed to drop into the desert terrain behind it created such a serene atmosphere. Flanking both sides of the pool were royal blue cushioned loungers and at the far end of the pool there was a bar with pool seating. They'd quickly walked past the pool and into the back entrance that led into a huge rec room complete with pool table and arcade-size video games. There was a full bar to the right of the pool table and a full kitchen with marble counter tops to the left. Colin hadn't picked his chin off the floor when Jared led him into a full-size theater complete with leather reclining chairs he gasped at the sight of the popcorn machine and hot dog maker behind what appeared to be an authentic concession counter.

"Wow, could we just live in here or what? I love movies." Colin volunteered.

Jared chuckled. "We could, I suppose, but I think you'd be much more comfortable in your bed. Jared laughed louder as he watched Colin sink into one of the recliners and kick the footrest out, he hadn't calmed his laughter when Colin laid his head back and closed his eyes.

"I can sleep here" Colin mumbled.

"Tell you what we can come have a Transformer or X-Men marathon tonight if you like."

"Could we?" Colin asked not hiding his excitement. "I love the X-Men series Hugh Jackman is something else." Colin stopped short of saying that he truly thought, the man was hot. "I've seen all of his movies, " he added omitting the fact that he'd had a crush on the man for a few years now. The back exit of the theater led them to the lower landing of a spiral staircase. Colin followed Jared to the top and found they were now in the kitchen again. From the kitchen Jared led him into the formal dining room that could easily seat 20 which flowed into a sitting area that was elegantly furnished with white antique furniture, the walls were papered in royal blue. Colin could only whisper the word beautiful. His father was well to do and his father lived well and his condo was nothing to snub, but it was clear that Jared's wealth was on a whole other level. This was old money real established wealth and he was standing in the middle of it all.
