I'm Dead But I'm Also Alive.

Chapter 9

After another hour of not really talking (more like argueing) about the angel grim reaper things. We finally got back to the house. Ben and Zac instantly went to bed and Allie was in the shower. John was passed out on the couch. I had already changed into comfortable clothes and I was laying in my bed listening to music. There was a knock on the front door that I faintly heard. So I took off my headphones and walked downstairs. I answered the door and there stood the leader of the angels. Leo. 

I glared at him. All he did was look at me with kind eyes and a perky smile on his face.

"Why the hell are you on grim reaper territory?" I asked.

"I saw what you did to your my angel grim reaper mixes. I thought that was a little harsh so I wanted to talk to you about it." Leo said still smiling at me.

"I stuck their heads on pikes. Around here that's considered me being nice. I could have ripped their eyes out and stuffed them in their cold, dead mouths. Then I could have cooked their bodies in front of your little gate so you know what burning flesh smells like." I growled.

"Your to violent and cruel." Leo said pouting fakely.

I rolled my eyes and started to close the door. Leo stuck his foot between the door and the door frame right as I slammed it. I could see the pain in his face and that made me smile. "Aww. Did I hurt the little angel boy?" I asked smiling bigger.

He gritted his teeth and looked at me. He moved his foot and kicked the door open which made me stummble back a few inches. Then he drew his white angel sword. "You wouldn't even try that." I growled.

"I would never kill a girl. I might hit or punch you but I won't kill you." Leo said honestly.

"Just get out of here before someone wakes up or hears you. Then you'll be killed and your head will be going on a pike." I hissed.

Leo looked at me for another second and then walked out. I closed the door and turned around. I didn't expect to see anyone there but there stood Max. I swear I jumped like ten feet in the air. Max chuckled at how I jumped and then kissed me on the cheek. "How did you get in here?" I asked.

"I'm the one who sent Leo here so that I could scare you." Max chuckled.

"Why are you here exactly?" I asked.

"Well my parents are out of town and my sister threw a party. I didn't wanna be stuck there so I thought I should come see my lovely girlfriend." Max say pulling me into his arms.

"And you wanna spend the night so your not stuck with your sister." I said looking up at him. Max simply nodded. "Except let's not sleep we can stay up all night and watch movies." Max said.

I smiled and pulled him over to the couch. We both sat down and I started naming out some movies. Max took the movie box and pulled out Saw 5. He put it in the movie in and we started watching it.Half the time my eyes were closed bececause this movie just gives me the chills.

Max laughed everytime I closed my eyes. "Babe come on I'll protect you." Max chuckled at me.

I opened my eyes and smiled at him. "How does the whole grim reaper work?" Max asked out of no where.

"You get a text. The name, place, and time of death. You locate them and then you rub their arm. You have their soul and you walk away." I explained laying down. I put my head in his lap and looked up at him.

"Sounds interesting." Max whispered thinking I couldn't hear him.

"Ever since Ben got Mya's soul we haven't had any reaps." I said.

Max leaned down and kissed my forehead. "We haven't watched this movie at all." I giggled.

"Well then we'll have to watch the text one. And you aren't laying down." Max said playing as I played with the ring on his finger.

"Fine. I'll sit up and I can be in your arms." I smiled.

Just then there was another knock on the door. I groaned and got up and ran over to the door. When I opened it there was a girl about two years older than me. So she was about twenty. "What do you want?" I asked in an aggervated tone.

"I'm looking for my brother. Max." She hissed at me.

Just then Max walked over and he looked at his sister. "Why  aren't you at your party?" Max asked.

"You left your phone and I heard where you were going so I decided to drop off your phone." She said handing him his phone.

She walked away and I closed to door. Max and I sat back on the couch and started watching paranormal activity. I was curled up next to Max and he had his arm wrapped around me.

We were about half way through the movie I started to get sleepy. I yawned quietly but not quiet enough. Max looked at me and pouted a little. I sat up a little more and kissed him on the cheek. "I'm not going to sleep." I said smiling at him.

"You better not. Cause if you do I'm going to wake you up." Max said smiling at me.

He pulled me into his lap and kissed my neck softly. I smiled and rested my head on his shoulder. Just then a few guys burst into the house. I stood up and shouted for Ben, Zac, and Allie. They all ran down and we somehow got out scythes before the angels drew their swords. 

This is going to be a long, hard battle.
