Someone appeared in front of me and it was a man with a mask on his face...

"Both of you go now! Ill hold him off don't worry about me you need to get back to your village now!" the man yelled, without question i grabbed Aphmau by her hand and pulled her with me as Vylad took watch behind us we ran and found Garroth with us..

"What is the rush?" Garroth asked trying to keep up with us.

"This demonic man tried to kill us and this man just took the guy on himself i would've stayed but.. i want to make sure aph goes home safely.." i said as i kissed her forehead. she blushed.

"Aph....you've been quite this whole time and you always talk... what wrong?" I asked.

"W-Well... i know that man not well but i know him and i feel bad leaving him behind i should've gone back to help..." she responded looking down.

"First of all how do you know this guy second we are very close to Phoenix Drop so turning back would be a bad idea because, you don't know if something can happen and Aph your lord so its your job to check on your people and my job is to keep you safe always.." i said hugging her. As i saw Vylad and Garroth smirking at me.

"....i know the man because he attacked me once before....he held a sword to my neck...because he needed to tell me something..." she said as i could feel her shaking in fear.

"HE WHAT?!" i yelled.

"L-Laurance please he just needed to warn me..." she said shaking even more.

"If that's what he was trying to do he had a funny way of showing it..." I said.

"Laurance...." she whispered.

"A-Aph its okay... I'm here for you now.." i said hugging her tight as i felt tears drop on my shoulders.

"Don't cry Aph its okay..." i said as i stroked her hair.

"Laurance....i..." she began to sob uncontrollably.

"Aphmau its okay we are here for you as guards its our job to keep you safe and no matter what we wont ever turn our backs on you.." Garroth said as Aphmau and I sat down. Aph cried into my chest and i persistently  stroked her hair.

"Oh... Aph....I know how bad it can be now but i cant relate to being lord the best thing we could do is be there to protect you..." Vylad added.

"Aph... from this point on you aren't allowed to go alone unless you are accompanied by one of us either Vylad, Me, Garroth, or Dante and i wont ever leave your side so don't worry.. heh"

"T-Thank you..." she said as she fell asleep on me.

"Poor Aph she must have it rough... i wonder what's bothering her..." Garroth said.

"Yeah... whatever it is ill be there to protect you..." i said looking at Aphmau. And i kissed her head.

"We should get going before the sun goes down. I know by the time we are at the village i will still continue to do my shift so for now rest  Vylad and i will keep watch." Garroth said.
