'Sebson' - Began with a Bang

Part 2 - More then Friendship?

Its was the end of the first race (Melbourne) and Jenson and Seb had both had a positive result. Seb had finished first with Jenson behind in second. They parked there cars in park ferme, Sebastian rapidly got out of his car, standing on the top of the nose and had his celebrations, waving his arms in the air with excitement and putting up his famous finger to the TV camera, Then running to his team behind the bars to celebrate a bit of his victory with them before heading to the podium, Behind him Jenson was getting out of his car, then walked over to Seb. He Tapped him on the shoulder giving him a smile and saying a 'Well done', but Seb could barely hear him. He turned around to shake hands with Jenson's as if saying thank you.

All three drivers headed up to the podium, Jenson, Seb, and Lewis. They all took their places on the podium, Seb punching the air looking down at his team while standing on the top step. Jenson looked at Seb

"Your promising pre-season testing paid. Good job man" Seb was about to reply when Jenson shoot him a life ending wink, he just managed to let out smile.

Most of the celebrations had finished and all the drivers were having their interviews. Lee Mackenzie (BBC) first came to Jenson

"Second place today Jenson, how do you feel about that result?" Placing the Micro phone in front of Jenson

"I'm fairly happy. Considering this is only the first race and we have two cars on the podium proves that we have been doing something right. This good early result will give the team that more confidence for the next race and the remainder of the season. But Seb drove a stunning race today, he was hard to beat"

"Speaking of Sebastian, we know that you both been having a rough patch recently but rumours that you've sorted things between the two of you?"

Jenson gave a almost chocked giggle, which sounds to unbelievable, probably for the cameras. "Yes we had a rough patch with the incident a few years back though he's changed, I've changed, he's a better racer now then ever before and he is a generally a nice guy"

Lee brings the Micro phone back to her "thankyou for your time"

Jenson also replied with a thank you and walked off.

The more successful drivers at Melbourne all decided to have a drink together back at the hotel where most drivers were staying for the weekend. Drivers like Nico Hulkenberg, who had a good race, along side Bruno Senna, Felipe Massa, Nico Rosberg, Heikki Kovalalien and of course Seb and Jenson. Lewis saw a hot blonde chick outside the hotel, god knows what he's up to". The drinks lasted all through the night, some drivers decided to completely go over their head were as other liked to keep it down for the night, Jenson and Sebastian. The two of them had spent most of the night chatting about things each other had missed with the time apart. It was getting late and several drivers had decided to leave, so Seb and Jenson took that as a que for them to also make their way back to their hotel rooms. They both picked up their coats and were about to walk out the door when Sebastian asked...

"Have you seen Kimi?"

"No why?" Jenson wandered how Kimi had uponed Sebastian's mind. Probably the room full of alcohol. Yes that's got to be it.

"Just said he needed to speak to me, is all" Seb looked around the room for sight of Kimi, even though knowing that it's highly unlikely to see him.

"You know Kimi, not the social one. He probably knew you were at a party and didn't bother coming. If I hazard a guess hes probably already on the plane to Malaysia" Jenson stopped and Opened the door, letting Seb walk through first.

"Your probably right. It's still strange that he didn't stay for the alcohol though"

Jenson gave a innocent laugh and directed them Through the hotel.
The two of them were still chatting away with each other as they walked to their hotel rooms. Jenson had to admit that he missed this. He missed these friendly talks, he's missed hearing Seb's stories and his ridiculous jokes. It was nice to finally get back to what he missed.

Behind the two them they heard loud and quick footsteps, which almost sounded like running up the stairs, Seb and Jenson ignored it and continued talking until the boles reached their floor and appears the Nico's. Rosberg chasing Hulkenberg through the Hotel holding a glass of water, wanting to tip it over him. These two had obviously drank themselves to oblivion which resulted in a childish water fight. They both turned around when they heard the loud laughter of the two Germans. They were running at fast pace, Hulkenberg dodged Jenson and Seb but Rosberg had a hard bump into Jenson, sending him into Sebastian. Before completely falling into Seb, Jenson put both his hands on either side of the wall above Sebastian head, stopping him from falling into him. The banging and Laughter from the two Germans had disappeared and it was now silence in the hallway of the hotel where Seb and Jenson were standing. Jenson had his face right in front of the German, and he found it impossible to take his off the blue of Sebastian's. Jenson could feel their noses just about touching so he leaned closer, he could even hear the Heart beat faster of he man below him. Seb got a huge spike of shivers down his spine as Jenson's lips moved closer to his. There lips were just about touch when Jenson froze. He opened his eyes and stared at Seb for a brief seconds. "I'm sorry" and he was gone.

Sebastian was left there staring at the wall in front of him, his heart rate has never been so high and was breathing heavily. Maybe this showed how Jenson did feel about him. Maybe Jenson felt the same way. Or Jenson made a mistake.
