They're cute, funny, smart,
You get along well,
Even before someone else fell,
But you didn't say anything,
You didn't identify the feeling,
And now you hate the code. They know it too,
They have told you before,
That you couldn't be more,
Unless you were willing to go,
Against the person you both know,
The boy you both love who loved differently. Now you realise you hate the code,
The one who protects the long-term,
Makes you cry in the short-term
A friendship protected a love destroyed,
Because you will probably breakup, crushed,
And when you do you'll have no one.You remind you self,
It for the best,
You don't put your love to the test,
All calm now just a memory.
Love wasted and three worlds torn,
Trust they gave now a nagging thorn,You can't let then down.
