Marks POV:
I wake up to my bright white room, but also to bright green hair in my face. At first I think it's cotton candy, but I realize it's not when I smell Sean's scent. I laugh, causing Sean to roll over and look at me. "What is it?" He asks, confused. "I almost ate your hair." He stares at me, not comprehending what on earth I am saying. I laugh even harder at the look on his face, and he just gets up, staring at me as if I'm insane.
"So, when do you think they'll let me out of here?" I ask when I finally stop laughing.
"Good question. But, I was wondering if you would mind me going back to your apartment for a while, to get some things."
"Absolutely Sean. As long as we're together, it's your apartment too. Mi casa, es su casa."
"Ummm... That was awful, Mark. No more Spanish," he laughs.
I turn the T.V on, awaiting Sean's return. I can't find anything so I settle for Family Guy. There's a knock on the door, and a nurse comes in. She collects two vials of blood. I wonder why, considering they already know what is wrong with me, but shrug it off.
I doze off for a moment, and a nurse comes in to shake me awake."You can't be going to sleep, now. Your green haired friend isn't here, and I can't just sit in here with you. So you have to either wake up, or you'll be put in ICU." I stare at the petite nurse.
"I'm not even tired, I'm just bored, there is nothing to do here, ma'am."
"Well sweetie, it's not up to me. See, your heart rate slows way way down when you go to sleep, and even worse so when your friend isn't here, apparently."
I nod, frustrated. That doesn't sound good, so I figure I won't be leaving for a while.
