Escaping death

chapter 1

Michaels p.o.v:

'I can't believe that I have to go to walk to school by myself again.' When I finally get to school I see Ryder and angel. I walk over to them and I hear Ryder complaining about something again as usual. "I'm dead." Ryder says trying to shake off his headache already forming by being in school for less than 10 minutes. "What's wrong with you now?" angel asks already annoyed with Ryder. "We were out of coffee." He says with a sad face. Me and angel look at each other and burst out laughing at how childish Ryder is being. I speak up and say "I think that you will live buddy." "No Michael I don't think I will!" By then aria walks up with her boyfriend and one of my best friends Conner. "Don't tell me that Ryder came to school drunk again." Aria says seeing Ryder shaking his head trying to get rid of his headache from not having coffee. We all laugh except for Ryder who just looks more annoyed at all of us. "Haha, very funny." I explain to aria and Conner "it's another one of his coffee crisis." We all start to chuckle again. It's funny to pick on Ryder sometimes. Right then the school bell rings telling us that it's time to go to class. Ryder is the first one to speak up "come on angel bear let's get this physics quiz over with." "What did I tell you about calling me angel bear!" I laugh because the last time someone called her that she didn't talk to them for a whole straight week. Ryder smartly says "you should know by now that I don't listen to anything you tell me to do." Angel just rolls her eyes and we all go our separate ways to class. As I'm seating in 1st period I start think 'why do I always get classes with none of my friends. I hate these people.' Referring to everyone else in my class. After class we all meet back up at my locker. "I totally just failed that shit." Ryder says referring to his physics quiz him and angel just took. "I actually think I did pretty good." Angel says and I wouldn't doubt it she has had straight a's for as long as I could remember. As we all disperse to go to 2nd period mason reed comes up from behind me and pushes my hard to the ground. "You weak bitch!" He laughs at me as I get up from the floor. I whisper under my breath "ignorant asshole." I guess he heard me because the dummy asked "what does ignorant even mean?" I shake my head at how stupid this kid is. After that I just walked off, I didn't have time to waste on some jerk. The rest of the day dragged on to after school. We all meet at the same place my locker. "Hey we should all hang out tonight." Ryder said. "I don't know if that is a good idea I have a lot of homework and a big test that I need to study for." Ryder just sighed and said "typical well what about you aria?" "Sorry Ryder me and Conner have a date tonight." Ryder looked like he was getting a little upset since the last time we all hanged out together was a little while ago. He turned to angel and asked her if she could hangout. "Sure I'm free." She said with a big grin on her face. Ryder jumped up and said "yes, you always come through for me." After they left it was just me and aria left to talk. There was an awkward silence between us. We weren't the closets out of all of us. "So Michael." "So aria." I just looked around the school trying to think of an excuse to get out of this awkward situation. She then spoke up again and asked "how are you?" I smiled a little and said "I'm good how you are?" "I'm great." "That's good." I couldn't remember anything else to say to her and I just told her that I had to go. We waved goodbye and I walked home.

Aria's p.o.v:

After talking to Michael I walked outside where Conner said he would be waiting for me. He asked me if I was ready and I said "yes." I got in his car and we drove to his house. When we got home I saw that Conner had mail. He picked up the mail and looked through it. His face lit up when he looked at a letter. "Hey, I actually got a letter from someone." I just laughed a little at how happy he got about getting a letter. I then said "wow, which even sends letters anymore?" We then walked in to his house and I set my stuff down by the door. We then go up to his room and we cuddle on the bed. I'm lying on his chest while he is holding me. "This song is beautiful." I say as we listen to "if I ain't got you" by Alicia keys. Conner then gets up and asks me to dance with him. I smiled at him and said "I'd love to." While we were dancing he said "can you believe that it'll be our 4 year anniversary coming up soon." "Yeah, I know...it's crazy." He then looked my straight into my eyes. I always loved looking at him in his eyes I felt like if I stared at them to long that I would just get lost in them and never be able to look away. "I feel like the luckiest guy in the world." I could feel the blush come up on to my cheeks. "Thank you Conner...but I'm nothing special." He them smirked at me and said "you funny." He then began to kiss me patently.

Michael's p.o.v:

I finally got home in about 30 minutes. I would have been home about 10 minutes ago but I stopped at a gas station to get a snack. When I walked up to the porch I saw that there was a letter on the floor and I picked it up. It was for me. I was a little shocked because one I never get mail and two who sends letters in the mail anymore. I just picked it up and went inside the house.
