Escaping death

chapter 2:

Michael's p.o.v:

When I got to school the next day I walked in and I saw Conner. I walked over to him and I said hey. He then started to talk about this weird thing "Hey Michael you won't believe this hilarious prank letter I got last night." When he said that I remembered that I got a weird letter last night as well. "I got a weird letter last night too." Aria and angel walked up to us and we asked if they got a weird letter also last night. They both said yes. "Here, let me see them." I took the letters to see if they had anything in common. When I was done reading them I was a little confused. "This is the exact same letter I got but the threats were directed toward me and my family." "But Conner thinks that it's fake." Aria had a skeptical look on her face "are you sure? I mean, it's kind of weird we all got the same letter." Conner just laughed "of course it's a prank!!! Someone's just messing with us." Angel didn't think it was funny she was getting freaked out a little. "Who would do something like this though?" Conner immediately thinks it was Ryder. It would make since though because Ryder loves to play pranks on us, but this one seems why too far even for Ryder. "Conner, I really doubt Ryder would do this. He's not that cruel and he wouldn't send out death threats toward us and our families." Angel then remembered "yeah, and he was with me after school so couldn't have done it." Conner then was thinking again "true so then who would have done this?" we all start to toss people's names out when Ryder shows up. "Hey guys what are you talking about?" he looked a little scared and out of it. 'I wonder if he got a letter to.' Conner then shows him the letter "so, I'm not the only one who got one of these." I then tell him that we all got one. I was now starting to get a little worried. What if this was real and someone really did want to hurt us? Angel is the first one to speak up. "I'm really scared guys." angel says. "You guys are taking this too seriously. It's fake." Conner is so sure and I don't think he is right I think that there is a real possibility that this is real. "I agree, I think its bullshit." Ryder chimes in. Aria is the next to speak up "just to be safe, I still don't think we should tell anyone about this." She made a good point in the letter it said 'don't tell anyone about this or I will kill you.' If this is real then one of us could die for real if we tell. This made me a little more freaked out now. "Haha whatever." Laughed Conner. With that Conner walked to class. "Am I the only one who thinks we should maybe consider taking this seriously?" angel said. She wasn't wrong there was a real possibility that this was real and someone wasn't playing a joke on us. The only problemis who would want to do this to us? I decide to side with them. "No... I think you and aria are right. Let's not share this information with anyone."

Daniel's p.o.v:

I was in the hallway when I heard some group of friends talking about this strange letter that they got last night. Me and my girlfriend paisley got one too. I walked outside to meet her. "Paisley I think that this group of kids can help us, I heard them talking about the same letter we got in the mail. They all got the same one last night to." I could tell she was worried "are you sure...because the note clearly stated if we told anyone about this we'd killed." She wasn't wrong to be scared but I had to reassure her "just trust me okay?" she just looked down at the ground and said "okay I just hope your right about this."

Michael's p.o.v:

We were still talking about what we were going to do when a kid walked up to us. "Excuse me?" we all just looked at him and the girl that walked up behind him. She was looking down and rubbing her arm with her hand. The kid spoke up again and said something that kind of shocked me " I couldn't help but over hear you guys talking about a note that sounds exactly like that one me and my girlfriend got yesterday." Ryder ran a hand through his hair and asked "how many people got these letters?" aria spoke up for the group "I think it would be smart if we all stuck together and kept quiet about this whole thing." I nodded "I agree." Ryder hated the idea "NO WAY! Do we really want stupid freshman following us around everywhere?" aria just shook her head and said "come on, Ryder. The more people in our group, the safer we'll be if things end up happening like this letter says. And they, could know something we don't." I thought just popped into my head "I thought you said this was bullshit, Ryder?" Ryder just looked at the ground "I don't know okay?! I'm going to stay on the down low for a while... just in case." Aria just shook her head and we all went to class.
